Mass/RI/Con Growers here! ...Part II

If marlboro ever came to town I would be dumping pollen into the airhandler. The dispenso's is going to bring more light to medical and help with perceptions, plus CO couldn't keep up with demand from legalization and the superbowl. Either way I'm training at the gym for my best outdoor year yet. Happy growing guys :)

if all of you mass ri and conn growers.. get together and SAY NO TOO GIVING OUT GOOD GENETICS ESPECIALLY ELITES.. TO ANY RICH FUCK.. THEN MAYBE you might have a chance at staying underground... but mainly.. u will have to participate.. get caregiver card an patients.. and deal with it .

A few associated with dispensaries have already come knocking. Listen to this guy.

Smh... Sensless comment. What difference does it make staying underground vs. Hopping on the medical bandwagon? Im not against either people will do what pleases them. But at the end of the day legal or not the cats holding the elites WILL rise to the top. People arent going to settle for some backyard boogie when they can get cream of the crop just so they can make sure everything is 100% legal and kosher...

didn't mean it like that. I just ment.. play your cards right.. and u wont have a problem with the medical or legal buds .. keep your buds topshelf. and dispensaries cant compete.. they buy for profit.. not for quality.,

Phillip Morris, the world’s biggest cigarette producer, announced today that they will join the marijuana legalization bandwagon and start producing marijuana cigarettes. Marketed under the brand “Marlboro M”, the cigarettes will be made available for sale through marijuana-licensed outlets in the state of Colorado, and the state of Washington when it becomes commercially legal there later this year.

Serafin Norcik, Phillip Morris’ Sr. Vice President for Marketing said in an interview that the company has been high on the idea of marketing cannabis, and has been monitoring the market for some time. It was only when the recent legalization initiatives — winning in Colorado and Washington — that they finally made the decision to take a leap of faith.

Norcik added that they have begun contacting former drug lords in Mexico and Paraguay, currently the largest marijuana-producing countries in the world, for the possibility of setting up a distribution ring across the North and South American continents, to streamline the supply lines.

Since only tobacco products are currently banned in advertisements and promotions in the United States, Phillip Morris also has set aside a huge $15 billion advertising budget just to promote the new “Marlboro M” and are now negotiating with major networks and publishers, to start marketing the product to consumers in the beginning of 2015.

Norcik also revealed that a big initial push is planned around January next year, and have acquired most of the ad airtime for Superbowl XLIX. However, since marijuana will be legal only in Colorado and Washington during the 2015 Superbowl, all the ads will be blacked out in all other States and will only show a static “M” logo with smoke blowing in the background, for the duration of the ad.

Phillip Morris shares hit an all-time high on the marijuana news and shot up to $998.00 from $83.03 just a few hours after the announcement went public.

There will always be niche markets for the cannabis industry. If you can keep up with the low prices and high volume, provide a higher quality or more exotic product.

There are also aspects like customer service, cannabis related products (concentrates, hash, edibles etc) Just have to figure out what the big guys are lacking in and fill that void.

The large operations will likely use "lowest common denominator" thinking. They want a product that will appeal to the most people with the lowest cost of production possible. This leaves the door open for boutique operations just like the microbreweries in the beer industry.

It is a shame though. The relaxing of cannabis laws could be a great opportunity for small local entrepreneurs. Laws and regulations make it impossible for anyone without vast capital and the ability to pay huge application fees, hire lawyers, rent commercial property etc to get a foot in the door.

I used to have a 3' beaker bottom, tripple Perc PHX tube... That thing took godzirrrrra lungs to clear!! .....think I went into debt over that tube, lol.

I been in a San Fernando / Tahoe haze alllll day... This stuff is great! Not sure which flavor I like better, gotta get a good cure before I can tell Forsure. But sfv is so citrusy compared to tahoe, and I feel like I'm getting hashier notes outa the Tahoe, all ontop of that beautiful OG funk of course. Corey is paaaacking it on! I sees why y'all were saying folks are cash cropping her over lots of other cuts, she's a beast!

And otto... Looks like I got a lone "Pure Northern Light Haze" left in the room, 3-4 weeks in now and still no sign of balls. She's about 6" from the ceiling.. In a 3gal pot, smells so lemony already, it's nuts. Stacking very sativa like ur #1. I'm fucking loving these teas and mycos + synthetics... I've never had such tiny pots growing such giant fucking trees. It's insane.

Speaking of myco's and such. Any of you fellas use that Photosynthesis Plus?
I just started using it, I cant tell if its better than say Great white myco yet.
I wonder if I can/should use both...

Ive also been thinking of trying out the OGbioWar in teas.

Haha CDM.... yup takes lungs to clear the beast.... but bong rips all day and it super easy to clear it now of course I'm not fully milking the whole bong ...just up to the second tree then I rip it

Sfv....yum....cant wait to test some buds.....tasty!

Pure northern light haze? Is that the #1 x pk?

Pappy, I used a bottle last winter of the Photosysnthesis Plus. My buddy got two free samples so I tried it out. I discount liquid myco's immediately so what you're left with is a beneficial bacteria liquid solution. Compost tea without the compost, basically.

Which is, I think, the real benefit of using something like PP. Providing the bacteria of a compost tea but without the organic matter that can often spell trouble for growers in hydro/soilless set-ups.

PP won't clog a drip line or fuck up a rez. Organic matter can do both if not applied in a certain way. ie; Mix up a EWC tea, strain out the organic matter, apply liquid. Some people don't want to spend the time doing that. PP is for those people. There is a trade-off, of course.

It's similar to how AN formulated CarboLoad to have everything molasses has in it but without the actual texture and appearance of molasses (sticky, black sludge) so it can be used in hydro set-ups without causing any problems.

If you're growing in soil it's (PP) almost assured to be redundant to the point of being a waste of time and material. I don't think it was intended for soil growers, exactly. Their website basically says as much, emphasizing its usefulness in DWC, NFT, coco, and drip systems.

GG, Roor is looking fresh! How tall is that thing, 2'? Lung buster status. Should be fun breaking it back in.

CDM, you getting any sort of bag-of-skittles type flavor off of the SFV? I'm getting lemony OG on the bud rub but the flavor when smoked is a little different. Got me thinking SFV has some real Affy in her blood because the taste is remarkably similar to an Affy-dom SS I ran a few years back. It's a funky bag-of-skittles flavor with that OG funk on top. Great buzz to boot. :D

I'll have to give it a go later & see about the skittles. But yes, I did noticed the flavor is somewhat different on the inhale. When molesting a bud or flower I get a hard smack of lemon pledge cleaner over that funky OG. Tahoe is pretty much the same, minus any lemon pledge .. I still think I get a touch of hashiness or bubble hash @ the beginning of an exhale with Tahoe.

Pappy -- I use Plant Success, granular Myco, @ transplant. OGBioWar is the tits, I've been running their line up since the summer & it's money! I just gave a feeding of some liquid EWC & liquid seabird guano last night, should be good stuff.

Nevermind the skittles. Things just needed to dry a bit more. Now the buds are stem snap dry in jars and the smell is straight pinesol throughout. Flavor is complex but there's a lot of lemon on the inhale. Still a faint hint of the skittles smell, though. I catch a little whiff of it from a broken up pile of bud but nothing like before.

HL, fantastic looking plants. How's that LLxNevs smell?
