Heh heh, I s'pose you're probably right..I hadn't even considered that it could be hemp (even with the earlier birdseed comment)! I assumed that, as everyone smokes these days, it would be a bagseed.

Lol this is the funniest thing i've seen in ages..
I used to throw a few beans in the flower beds in Hyde Park but dont think they ever took.
I'll be keepiing an eye on this thread to see how S/He pans out.

Well that's the end of that, then. Weird that he's flowering now. Maybe he's an auto? Maybe hemp doesn't flower according to photoperiod, anyone? Maybe the stress of his environment caused him to bust a nut....who cares?

shame its a male, will be interesting to see how big it gets before someone cuts it.
best one i ever saw was a 4 foot beauty in someones front garden down the lanes, think they knew about that one.

If you look closely at the last pic, you'll see his main meristem has been bust open. I reckon someone had a swipe....looks a little severe for wind-damage. He's pretty beaten up already, really.
His main problem, I reckon, will be drought. We've had sod-all rain for a month or so, and everything is getting a bit parched.
Anyone know whether or not hemp flowers according to photoperiod (light cycle)?

I do agree that is was most likely hemp from bird seed, but could just as easily be from a seed tossed aside, especially with the back entry there... that definitely looks the type of place I'd have gone for a smoke when I was a young'un!

Omg , I was just walking my dogs when out of the corner of my eye I see what looks like a cannabis plant growing out of the pavement. Look closely and sure enough it's a male plant.
Then I remember this thread as the wall, and back ground look very familiar and sure enough it's the same bloody plant.

Ha ha.... No shit herbs! I've only lived at our current location for 2 years, but maybe. If we haven't, then we bloody should do!

It reminds me of a mate who told me he'd found a load of weed plants dug them up and planted them in his garden. When I went round a few weeks later they had grown into big nettles. Somebody may have planted that seed for a bit of fun, i've put seeds in strange places when younger a couple even got put in the shrubs outside the police station.
