Dawn

Dawn

I am also an early riser. An additional benefit of getting up early is one of my favorite buzzes is to have a cup of coffee and a couple of hits of good weed right after getting up.

The quiet and the freshness of the day makes it a great time for thinking and coming up with new ideas and solutions to problems.

I too am a early riser and the Sonoran Desert is in the morning for me is always a wonder. As you can walk the desert around your feet alive with all kinds of life. At about 2 am I have a Northern Mocking bird this year who sang his night song. Then about an hour before dawn you can hear the Quails starting their forage. I have a water hole I tend to visit and watch the Javelina come the desert Mulies. Some you can see cat scat if you take the time to sit and look at the desert floor around you one can see the highway of life that took place through the night. I walk these lands of the Dragoon's, Huachuca's, Pinelos, Chiricahua Mountains, and the desert floor between them. It is a great comfort to me to know this is where I started this is where I will end.

But of course being so close to the border and todays climate it can be dangerous. and if you are a rancher in the Tombstone area your automatically profiled as a militant. I hauled 2 30yard dumpster of shit left over from the crossers just last year alone we wont go there.:tumbleweed:

Well here to report on the http://medicalfarmersmarket.com/ in phx. It was worth the trip from the Tombstone area. I took the Goldwing and the scenic through Florence I don't like I-10 around Picacho with winds and dust storms. This is the place for clones if your a micro grower, and you can negotiate with the growers. About 80 vendors there most showing smokeable herb lots of edibles of all sorts, vaporizers bags, contests doorprizes.

Next time I will take the car as I don't think the clones would farewell in the saddle compartments. I came home with 14- 1/4 oz's mostly all different varieties. I bought a 1/4 of Blue Daydream and the CBD's are fantastic. It was fun while I felt out of place at times a old bald conservative looking non tattooed guy hanging out in a bus taking turn's on a bong LMAO. It was like going back in time to 67 and my sister took me to San Francisco for 5 days on the way to my aunts house.

Thanks for the report and the link. The bike ride sounded like fun. It sounds like I would fit in about like you did, except for I am not bald.

I had a good time last weekend riding my ST1100 down to Galveston, TX to the Lone Star Rally. Same deal as far as the crowd. Vast majority were HD riders. Still there were bikes of any and all sorts and plenty Goldwings and tricked out Suzuki Hayabusas.

We had perfect weather over the weekend in Galveston for the Rally. The newspaper reported more than 500,000 showed up for the rally.

I got up early on Monday and drove up to Fort Worth for business. That accomplished I turned around and headed south on I-45. I hit a lot of rain and I could not help but feel sorry for the straggler bikers heading north out of Galveston on I-45 in the pouring rain.

If a person ever got on a 1800 Gold Wing turn that throttle and try to find the end of that hard pull good luck. And with ABS braking I set my cruise control on 95 on I-8 going through the desert to San Diego and on a full moon in the summer it is like a fantasy. But I do cruise the shell station in "Gila Bend" when cruising in the summer and count the HD's that are sitting there wait for their oil to cool down LOL. They are a beautiful 1920's design and more after market parts that one could ever imagine. I was a super on a project in Ft.Bliss and Barnets in ElPaso. that's where I bought my first wing in ElPaso after going into Barnets went down the street to MR Cycle. that weekend rode it to Big Bend. Next weekend went to Hobbs NM.

I think even the facial recognition sytems in use today would have just a little trouble identifying Ole Ugly There.

I'm sure His Momma still loves Him though.
Bless His heart.

got a question for you which may be OT as it's not relly old skool.. how do you get plants started? had a bubblegum that made it a month before it was munched by javelinas, most things are chewed to the ground in a night or so.

you take them out as clones and put wire and piles of hair around them?? camp for the first month?

found a nice shady mini canyon in southern az i'd like to try next year, halfway up a sky island, maybe 4500ft. still in the "desert", but sheltered. i'm sure the place is full of rabbits, some deer, ring tailed cats.

Keeping the pigs out can be a problem no:tumbleweed: dogs? The green Tee posts 8' 16" OC. 32" high with Gaucho barbed wire will stop the varmints. I will assume here if you have pig your in the Sonoran very rural so eat some garlic and ginger and piss around the plants

Well, here are the stats for Arizona's first actual year of sales with most approved dispensaries open. Some that are approved still haven't opened. Lots of lawsuits against the Dept of Health over a number of issues. Hopefully a whole bunch of favorable changes will come of them. There's a very good chance that full legalization will get on the ballot next go around........and when it does, it'll pass.

84,000 ounces......5,278 pounds..............2.7 tons.

At an average of 400/oz that's $33 million and 600 thousand in sales.

Use 8% for the average sales tax and the state has made $2.64 million in tax revenue.

That's not reporting but just the state observed Dispensaries grows.
Yes 18 is the age limit on the new vote. These Dispensaries here in the southern part of the state don't really help patients of medical needs anyway. With big discounts on Game Day, free certifications, free grams if you bring a friend, Gummy Bears, Fruit Roll Ups, Happy Hour Specials, Fruit Drinks, And of course good pot for $420.00 and ounce. These expenseries are nothing more than gram brokers to the kiddies. There is a lot more of a expense paid to the state than the sales tax.

These expenseries don't have trained staff in medical physiology these guys are weed tenders like bar tenders. I don't have issues with people getting high. But to hide under the guise of medical and extort revenue with the ruse of helping medical is insulting to the MS community that I belong too.

Arizona needs to allow growing for personal use trading for personal use. Let the kids play the games of youth and the recreational use dispensaries.

Slowly but surely.........it's going to happen.....

Two bills recently proposed by Arizona lawmakers are attempting to advance the marijuana industry in Arizona. One bill is to decriminalize marijuana, while the other is to legalize and tax marijuana for recreation use.

House Bill 2474, would make possession of less than an ounce of marijuana become similar to getting a traffic ticket, instead of a felony which is on someone’s record permanently.

Under this bill, possessing between an ounce and two pounds of marijuana would only be a petty offense. Currently, it is a felony that is punishable by up to two years in prison for first-time offenders.

The bill would also make growing less than two pounds of marijuana a misdemeanor, instead of a felony. Growing more than two pounds would become a low-grade felony.

Phoenix Democrat and co-sponsor of the bill is Assistant House Minority Leader Ruben Gallego. He is also supporting House Bill 2558, which he says would “regulate and tax marijuana in a manner similar to alcohol.”

Two of the three polls in the past year showed a majority of Arizonans support the legalization of marijuana. With this in mind, it is almost certain that at least one of these two bills will be passed into law.

It is to ponder? With other states that we have a medical marijuana reciprocity with license and possession. I believe interstate laws of commerce apply like mail order medication? Suddenly the bar has been raised and large scale commercial operation with labs and water processing plants licensed distributors and suppliers. The only thing really hold that up is the Federal government need to change the classification of Marijuana then all of the federal laws apply like FDIC insurance so they can do banking and banks can lend money now it is a cash and carry business.

This coming up election in 2014 we can change that let your congressman you want to reclassify Marijuana.

There was consideration of allowing commercial hemp to be grown here the Legislator lamented that it would make it hard for a officer to tell the difference between commercial hemp for pulp and Marijuana for medical use. I agree I don't want dank swamp weed pollenating the plants here lets grow medical Marijuana for commercial use lot less pollen they count as mold.

36-2833. Excise tax; deposit; distribution
A. AN EXCISE TAX IS LEVIED ON THE SALE OR TRANSFER OF MARIJUANA FROM A MARIJUANA CULTIVATION FACILITY TO A RETAIL MARIJUANA STORE OR MARIJUANA PRODUCT MANUFACTURING FACILITY. EACH MARIJUANA CULTIVATION FACILITY SHALL PAY AN EXCISE TAX AT THE RATE OF FIFTY DOLLARS PER OUNCE, OR PROPORTIONATE PART THEREOF, ON MARIJUANA THAT IS SOLD OR TRANSFERRED FROM A MARIJUANA CULTIVATION FACILITY TO A RETAIL MARIJUANA STORE OR MARIJUANA PRODUCT MANUFACTURING FACILITY.

Seems kinda mob like with out the protection part! So now it's gonna be cool to have herb but if I don't have my tribute paid I'm a criminal?

I mean yay free the weed! Just doesn't appear to be pure in its intent
