@thewhitelotuce, Horizon herbs has a lot of interesting seeds, a lot of them organic if not all. Tomatoes and peppers are kind of a personal choice, there are so many. I always try to have several of each. I have had snow peas, carrots, broccoli, lettuce and spinach planted since December in Ca. I had to replant the broccoli because I forgot to pull the frost cloth a few nights. Everything else handled the frost okay. I went with raised beds with hardware cloth on the bottom to keep ahead of these moles I haven't dealt with yet

most "name brand" mp3 players will accomplish what you want. a couple thousand songs is really too much in the storage world these days!

i personally use my phone, which is a galaxy note II, but i think an ipod or something similar would work for ya

PF, what timer did you get? If Unc recomennded one I must have missed that post.
Unreg .... if your looking for a timer for your drip system ..... grab one of these . they have seconds of ON time instead of the standard 1 minute increments. much nicer for dialing in to runoff .

i use them , 3rd just bought a few & someone else too , but i forget . anyways , i've had mine going for well over a year with 0 problems .

boy you're missing out dan! I use my phone for quite a bit especially on the web with all my sportsbetting, stat checking, etc.....but im also an IT consultant so im glued to technology

thousands of songs isnt much for devices these days. any decent device should hold that no problem.

now thousands of records......well my house has that too....my roommate only listens to vinyl at home and MP3s on the road

I maybe the other person using a mistking timer :D I could have just went with a chepo timer for what I'm using mine for. It controls my veg lights. I just plug in my pump and let it run till the trash can is empty. I was gonna use the timer on the drip system but for now it works out that I'm there when the pump needs to run anyway. I need to build a veg box and set up another rez for that, then I can set the timers up and visit at my convenience rather then me being on a nailed down schedule.
