coco beds...adjusta wing 2 wire converts kits...oh snap

Looks great man. A couple quick questions since we are currently building out a very similar setup.

1. What size is the total of the room and how many tables do you have?

2. What are you finding to be the effective spread of each of the Adjust a with the DE bulbs? We are thinking of just converting our current Adjust a's rather than buying Gavitas or epaps. plus I think it saves on cooling to place the ballasts OUTSIDE.

3. Can you possibly walk us through the drip setup and how you are pressuring it all to be consistent? Also how you're handling the runoff would be helpful!

cheers mate

what up vaggio,
my room is approx 18x20, 1 have 5 4x8 and 1 4x4, i use the open 4x4 space for entry, dehu, and i have a shelf/rack for room supplies. the 4x8 are butted up on each other making them 4x16 3 lights over them and the other row is 4x12 with 2 lights for spread i placed one in the middle of both trays so 8 feet then one at 4 feet of both trays

what im seeing is the spots where the wings cross light each other, where the middle and side lights meet, the plants are much lighter, even having some yellowing...the flowers look fine, no different than the ones outside of the cross lit area.

my feed drain setup is
res gravity fed to a 1.5 hp aquarium pump

plummed into 1 inch pvc

pvc goes along perimeter of room and tees into each table

they have a sprinkler valve on each and wired to a galcon controller, better than raid bird u can set it for any duration, 4 octa bubblers per 4x8. i run at 20-25 second feed times,2 times per cycle in flower
[url='https://www.icmag.com/ic/picture.php?
albumid=49265&pictureid=1149249']

32 microjets per 4x8

for drains i do 3/4 drains to totes that have a float valve to a submersible pump that goes outside the room to a drain

its not a hard setup really, a bit more labor intensive just do it somewhere you wont have to teardown quickly :pirate: leme know if that answered it

That makes complete sense thanks mate.

Another quickie..

Im thinking about doing my rooms 20x26 to be able to get 9 4x8's in it. Do you think 15 wings would cover it? I also need to take into consideration the 4x8's are measured from the INSIDE perimiter and not the exterior.

Also are you just filling the trays with landscaper cloth or did you get the 4x8 geopots?

so u can do rows of 4x24, 2 feet of room is not alot to work in but doable just put everything on casters thats what i did, make your main feeds from the pvc to the tables out of 1 inch hose so they have mobility... youd have 3 rows of 4x24 so u could do 12 or 15 lights, these cover 4x6 nicely...what im seeing from the cross lighting is that next run ill move my outer lights a bit further awat from the center to try and minimize the cross light intensity this will give stronger single lighting to the outer parts of the tray, i forgot to add that the outsides of the trays have not shown any diminished growth compared to the rest of the tray...i use smart pot liners and just make my own trellis

Which smart pot liners are you using and which trays?

I think 2ft is def not going to be enough to be honest. Especially when you consider a 4x8 tray is not 48x96 but rather closer to 52x102

holy shit
whatthefuck whatthe

Man that looks like a mess but very cool at the same time. How come you didn't lollipop them ladies a bit and clean that up?

ya it got a little hectic. i switched from 6/9 to canna + fasilator and things just went nuts. also the most dialed room i've had to date. they were at trellis level at flip, almost lollipopped all the way. at day 20 i started cleaning em all up. takes a few days...

i'll share another pic in a week of the canopy in it's final form. luckily i hadn't switched to gavitas yet lol

also, botanicare white trays FTW. 4x8 inner dimensions, the smart pot liners fit perfectly inside. also, you can take a saw and cut the lips off, makes it just 4'2"x8'2" OD albeit a bit less stable. beds in crappy 4x8 OD trays is a pain...

Caravaggio, reaching to the back of 4x8 trays up against a wall is a pain. i'm switching from 6 4x8s (192sqft) to 8 3x6s (144sqft) in a 18x14' room... my aisles are too small, only 12". another option is having rolling tables on casters with a hose rather than PVC connecting each tables' feed manifold to the feed supply on the wall.

yea but im definitely concerned about NOT being able to get to all sides of the tables on those side tables to be honest. I think im asking for trouble. It's already a bitch trying to get to the backside of some 3" tables i have no against a wall.

Dude thats my main concern! I just found out today I can do the room at 26x24. Any ideas on how you would do that?

lol i could spend all day thinking about cool layouts for grow rooms. my first idea: pretty much a better supersized version of my current room. 12 4x8s and 18-20 gavitas. 4x 3 table rows going parallel to the 26' wall, leaving you with 2' of aisle along the 24' wall (but only if you cut the 4' side lips off.)

4tables x 4' wide tables (if ya cut the 8' side lips) is 16' of tables leaving you with 8' of aisle room, divide by 5... that leaves you with 1.5' aisles on both sides of each 3table row.

but that one depends on cutting the lips of tables. you could also put the tables on casters and keep the 8' side lips.

whatever layout you choose, just make sure you can access every plant. and 1.5' aisles MINIMUM. 2'+ is really nice...

cut the side lips they are so irrelevant, i have about 1.5 between rows. its manageable but def not ideal

Ive set it up to have 286sf of growing space in a 24x26 room and i think its the setup im gonna go with. A handful of 4x8's and a handful of 3x6's all having 2" walkways around all. The 3x6's could be up against the wall. im growing smaller plants anyway. Only 2wk veg. They are typically 12-14" when they flip into flower in my beds.
