Its obvious they crossed the FI to the DW for potency, FI is one of the most overrated wortless strains i've ever had the unpleasure of growing or smoking, same with WMD. Just no kick there. I'd never get anything with FI in it. Deadwood, on the other had, you just hear nothing but good about it and it looks great, Great job cabron

I know this is an old post, but had to revive it as deadwood is among the strains my coop partner just brought to our grow...This plant is a thing of beauty!!
I didn't realize it was a clone only strain, hey, anyone in Olympia, Wa area, I just gave away 8 of these cuttings($5/each!) before I found out from my partner that he donated about a grand for a cutting...UNREAL...but if she comes anywhere close to looking like that, would have been money well spent. So Wa RWC compliant patients..I have this strain , I will post pics as soon as I can get them on the puter..I have the retired "mom" I am just going into week 2 on, the rest are small, under 2 footers..

There's a reason it's not being spread around, it's pretty lame. Our crowd all did a 1 and done run, once was enough.
Deadwood the clone is very good... the spg Shines thrue in the taste big time and the bubba gives it the kick it needs so its not girly weed... it gets ya high and taste great never grew it so cant say much bout it growth habits but i love to smoke it...
IMO, she stacks up well against the 2nd tier clones like Bubba, Green Crack, Sour Diesel. Dialed in and she's good smoke with decent expansion, great taste and an incredibly unique smell. Potency wise, she doesn't rival the top-tier cuts, but most legitimate, in-need patients don't want their heads wrecked by a few puffs. She has great sedative qualities and also appetite stimulation. Coupled with the taste/smell, she is a good cut.
Without pics, we can't even guess how well "your crowd" did her.
You can see my pics earlier in the journal. I had no problem moving every last little bit of her. Not one complaint--and my lineup is epic.
I no longer carry her as I've moved on to other strains--she didn't work well mixed in with my lankier plants and she was simply too smelly to grow in my apartment.
It is a singularity, that is for sure. I'm very impressed something so tasty and stinky yields like it does. Cabron killed it with this cross. Out of all the beans I've popped in the past couple years (mostly seedbay and seed boutique breeders) I haven't found a single phenotype with as many keeper qualities as this plant.
this is exactly the point. it's not the strongest, easiest to grow, or fastest vegging plant around. but to say it's anything less than competent meds is simply inaccurate.
I pulled at least 1/4 lb from every plant I ever grew from her in my vert setup. This is pretty much "the maximum" i can get from the plant sizes I run. Take a look at the plants from earlier pics. Only drawback would be veg time, she creeps along. I also have never had a problem with bud rot despite how fat the buds get, something other environs would have to take into account.
I passed her all around when I had it. Can probably still put the clamps down on her.

I would never put sour on a list as gc.... alot of commercial sour yes but ecsd 80sumthin days is as at the top as can be. Even 98 bubba after 70 is great .... most ppl.time is money and quality suffers and thats why So buch bad sour prices droppin that shit happens... that why true 8wkers are great green crack has that great mango funk and peaks at 8 wks...
