quinness is too heavy for me, i prefer lagers and ales. don't have over the top-favorite but those different ipas are damn good.

sadly to say usually my favorite beer is the one on sale, which around here means some type of lighter lager.

Guinness was the worst beer that I've ever had; all of their offerings suck; very low abv and watered down taste. I was so angry after drinking THAT beer; it was more like the grog that the Royal Navy served their shipmates in the 19th century.

RF - Worse than Bud Light? My carbonated urine is better than that shit.

Guinness is a pretty tasty creamy stout...and don't forget:

'Guinness is good for you' ;)

You need to check out Founders breakfast stout.

Their Kentucky breakfast stout is even better from what I hear, but never had it.

Old Rasputin is another stout which is better than Guinness, IMO.
Old Rasputin is my favorite beer. I haven't tried the Founders stouts but i hear they are amazing. hard to find here in cali.

Haven't tried them all  but here's my top 5:

1. Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock
2. Firestone Walker Double Barrel Ale
3. Bell's Two Hearted Ale
4. Bell's Third Coast Old Ale
5. good ol' Sam Adams Boston Lager
