..pure 100% sativa JLB will knock your socks off, then drag you behind a car for 2 miles,
throw you down the stairs, hook you up to the electric chair for an hour with your feet in water, then scare you half to death because it just isnt gonna end, and then keeps getting more intense every hour because there is NO cieling! Then it spins you like a top until you loose bodily functions. Its scary!

Doesn't sound like a spiritual experience I'd strive to achieve. <lol> Someone noted Jamacian Blue Mountain as calm and meditative, that's closer to the effect I prefer.

Everyone has their own preferences. I think having your world turned upside down in a way that is not too destructive can be a good thing on an occasional basis. I would not think that the description above would be good for everyday smoking weed. In a sense, these are the things that make certain weeds spiritual. On the other hand, in my experience, a tolerance can be built up fro some of the negative effects, while the high does not lose it's potency.

Also, the downside effects can be mitigated in certain ways by:

1.) Titration - If you are a half joint smoker on a regular basis, then extremely potent weed begs for a lower dose. Try two hits. I have had my best highs using small doses of extremely potent weed.

2.) Ripening - Some especially energetic weeds may require a bit more ripening than other strains to modify the effect.

3.) Curing - A good long cure can sometimes take the rough edges off without losing the psychoactivity.

Just some thoughts, other than this sounds great to me!

used by rastafarian order " twelve tribes of israel" for prayers and their spiritual ceremonys as the man Bushman who brought this line is the part of this group. I also belive its not the high that makes this line spiritual for rastafarian community

I'd of guessed the high makes this line spiritual, I can't imagine a more important selection criteria. Doesn't matter Jamican Rastafarians or Indian Sadhus, they would migrate towards a high that reinforced their spiritual beliefs.

Clear and heightened awareness, spacious, increased heart beat, euphoria, and transcendental mental clarity.

Kaiki's Meao Thai in Destoyer is a spiritual line, with mental clarity and motivation. Very little stone of body or mind. Meao Thai is much less stimulating than a connoisseur Highland Mexican. Knock the resin glands from the dried flower tops onto glass. Scrap up a gram or two of white resin and vape at a moderately low temperature. THCV and THC - 8, and THC terpenes vaporize at lower temperatures, less than 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

Increase the temperature to vaporize the CBC, CBD, CBN, or not. You could chose to continue vaporizing only THCV, THC-8 and THC, by setting the vaporization temperature at 300 degrees F cooler than the vaporization temperature of CBC, CBD, - 360 - 420 degrees. Fahrenheit.

The question is whether THCV, THC-8, and THC in Lambsbread has a different effect than the THCV, THC_* and THC in Meao Thai (Destroyer). I have not smoked Lambsbread. In the 1970's gold Mexican or gold Colombian were considered consiousseur, but Jamacian was not.

To each his own - for me - Panama Red and Colombian Red, were joyful, stony, mind altering, sedative, a heavier mind and body stone, fun -not what I'd call a spiritual high.

Nepalese black hash - I love(d) it had a sativa/indica effect. I never tried an Indian sativa or Highland Nepalese sativa. In theory they should provide a spiritual high.

Impressive. Sometimes ago I had seeds from jamaica, Had hope to get awesome weed but it was.. I don't know what but most of them look like skunk, smell like skunk, and kick like skunk. Unfortunately there is no pure jamaican on island.

@ ODW This Lambs-bread is from Jamaica - Brought to those growers by a Jamaican artist name Bushman, says he got them str8 from the growers of a rasta community, who kept the strain for years in his pure form. Hope this help...

I know...I'm growing it now. But thank you for taking the time to share that with me. I appreciate that.
I think you mis-understood me though. I said someone should BRING IT BACK to the islands.
Since there strains are all Jamaican-Skunk hybrids now.
You know....give them their strain back in pure form. I just dont know if they would keep it pure or if it would get hybridized and lost in the mix of hybrids again.

I get it, but why bringing it back if it's already there? There's original LB in JA but most of the commercial growers in JA won't grow this anymore :)

they have moves on to faster flowering plants and the old genetic are getting crossed to all the new genetics 6 crops per year compared to 2 maybe 3 with the old school stuff.....

Just because there is GS Cookies in the U.S doesnt mean every grower in the U.S has access to it. Im sure its the same way in Jamaica. The commercial growers overran the JLB with Skunk genetics to make their strains more commercialized and profitable.
Im sure there is an old rasta living on the island somewhere that would love to get ahold of what he used to smoke back in the day before it got hybridized.
Thats all Im saying brother.
How nice would it be to go to the island, find an old rasta that is really warm and welcoming to you, he opens up his home to you, as his wife cooks dinner, while you and him smoke some decent Jamaican bud outside. Then you pull out some pure 1960' Pure Sativa JLB seeds and gift the brother a Godsend of a strain and you have that talk about keeping it a pure strain and all, and then have dinner and whatever.
Thats what Im seeing in my mind anyway. Im stoned. So ya, I could be talking out my ass, but damn that air smells sweet.
Ill post a pic of my 4' tomorrow morning. Have a blessed day everyone.

USA it's 350 millions of people and Jamaica it's only 3 millions LOL - In Jamaica there are very familliar with Ganja in general, not in the US - Even if it's getting bigger and bigger now with all the legalizations etc - So I would think u can access JLB if u really want to in JA, but idk... If your wait for it to come to you then its other story lol.

Maybe the JLB is hoarded cause real Rastas who kept it pure don't want it to be a commercial strain but rather a spiritual awakening herb that helps them to meditate. I only hear about JLB in rasta communities.

Can't wait to see your pics brother, have a nice yeah - Peace :)
