i love salad grows also....& it is hard to keep everyone happy..
i think the only plant thats suffering is the rks...with the clawed leaves... i did back off the cal-mag this watering...everyone is in bulk wool...i flush real good with ph'd water every 4th feeding... liking that bulk wool alot so far...

i think don juan matus on here has that "flock wool" mastered. either kinds.

i am pretty sure he only runs like 700-800ppm the whole way

if you havent seen the thread its in the hydro section i beleive.

i always run water thru every 3rd feeding in soiless, and 2 fday flushes in a row for hydro

i do notice, though my afhganicas do respond and handle nutes well. less is more to them. thats from my experience. i noticed one room ate so much nutes last week that the ec actuall went don to 0.7EC. thats low, and they bulked up heavy.

i love that method. and ya skunks dont really like nutes at all. i would try to stay between 700-1000 ppm with reg full fulshes to get the best out of the flockwool. as salt can build up fast as its very fast drying

Sorry for the lack of updates..having spinal issues...& me don't like that s#%t...
First off...

purple pain killer





this pheno didn't turn purple, but made up for it in a big way. Nice orange cream sickle smell ..with a hint of funk. The plant vegged well..liked to be topped.. I won't say sensitive to nutes cause it seems i was feeding hot anyway, the second round proved.. i was feeding way hot...

Odor/smell: 9.5
very pungent, citrusy, funk... if you have it in a bag, everyone will know. Must use jar/ airtight container to carry if illegal.

rolled pin joint...smoked 1/2..was high for over an hour..smoked the rest..nice pick up. starts in the head...clear,...moves quickly behind the eyes..down to body.
smells verry nice when burned. Everyone wants to know what kind it is.

nice, solid buds, not massive buds..but dense

I kept this plant because of the score above... nice yielding, easy to grow, good on the smell & high department.

WCSD

This pheno turned purple & i wasn't expecting. It surprised me because it didn't have that strong diesel smell..you could smell it behind the floral, almost perfumey odor

This is a different smell..more floral..hard to describe..funk behind it.
you can definitely smell through a bag.

Frosty purple buds...enough said...

Taste: 8.5
Kinda taste how she smells...smooth...creamy ..

Pin joint...smoked 1/2 way..creeper...wanting more because of smell & taste....then realizing...Damn... i'm high as fuck...lol..easy hour 1/2 joint.

Nice yielder..no slouch

i do not want to trivialize the seed lines at all. i just want to emphasize the definitive expressions of the original mamas

i live the purple pheno of the wcsd. i actually notice the fuel is sharper and more astringent rather then a broader fuel spectrum from the green pheno

my ppk from seed went 95 days flower/w 10% amber...this round i'm getting 10% amber @ 75 days..flushing has started.
I see your rocking the med-man tables..i'm following along...with new back issues i may have to convert...

with med-man brand nutes and co2 i am done 3-4 weeks faster. nutes typically take a week off veg and a week off bloom. same with the addition of c02 too

Ok wait. Let me put it this way. Are you doing 12/12 from start? Or how many days from 12/12 is what you normally count. Like right now I have 30 clones vegging but this don't count towards flower time. As 60 days or you should be done. If i count veg it would be 75 days. But if your just doing 12/12 from seed then I can see the 95 days

bayarea925... I am not doing 12/12 from seed. The first rd.(seed rd.) once i flipped to 12/12...it took 95 days... that's around 10% amber...
the 2nd. rd.(clone rd.)...i'm @ day 76.. & have around 10% amber..
I don't understand it either...I have had clones finish quicker ...but not 20 something days....

Was the plant fully sexually mature before flowering? Or was it sexed under 12/12? I find when i force flower it always takes allot longer, but if i veg for two months and the plant is fully showing its sex it can finish almost 3 weeks quicker. I had an ogxsour diesel cross that from seed took 90 days, the clone taken from this plant while flowering at about three weeks was used as a mother. The clones from this mother would be done in 65 days or sooner. I think its all because some strains just need to veg themselves a certain amount no matter what.

great observation

clones def have different hormones and growth then seeded plants i have found.

seded plants have main leads. clones can only have the same hormaones as branches, even if the have a main lead, they still are branches of branches with predidermined sex.

This plant stood up & demanded to be noticed...
57 days in....frosty...was a sharp lemony smell...now i smell lemons.....& something...lol...smells good though....verry good...can't wait to try this one..she's still going strong though..

1st rd. the ppk was in coco...2nd rd. she was in flock wool...
i noticed stronger(sharper) smells with the flock..... same nutes...more trichs(room is colder though). i like the flock wool.....think i'm moving toward med-man tables.... or hydro..rdwc...doing a bubble bucket now...
single bucket though..blah blah....heres the ppk...rd.3..going in...

I had an odd purple pheno like that one too. It was a weird one, it reminded me of like Deep chunk or something, it was a total purple hash plant.

Watch out for nanners with that pheno, i found quite a few seeds at the base of the plant.

The RKS #2 I found grows best with almost no nutes.
