I will take pics of my a/c tonight, and what I do to cover it while its on.
Its not very efficient, but it works and I dont get hermis.
And thats all that counts. I really need a better system for exhaust too.
I have a window box but its to heavy for me to bring up and hang myself.
Not 1 person knows were I live so its not an option to hang it right now.

Thanks a lot Overgrow. You've been very helpful! No hermies is the goal! I want it done very well in case I run a finicky strain like a Chem.

How It Will Work

Here is the system I have in mind for my perpetual garden. This first run I will buying 12 clones, keeping 2 in veg. The other 10 will go to the...

1. 400w Metal Halide for 3 weeks topping in week 2 (for clones)

2. Moved to table A (labeling non pre-flower tables A, B, and C) where they will spend the rest of their lives until harvest

3. 10 new plants will replace the first batch under the 400w that same day

4. After 3 weeks the second batch will be moved to table B. (Clones from first batch should have good root systems and be ready for pre-flower)

By the time the third batch is going to table C, I will be harvesting table A.


And so on and so forth... With this system I would be harvesting a light every 3 weeks. How does that sound? I've got time to do the work so that's not an issue.

As I understand what you are saying is that your clones will be 4 weeks old before you put them under the MH and then another 3 weeks of veg from there? Sounds like a nice schedule to me but I am wondering about size. It seems like the clones you buy will be much smaller than your 4 week old clones. Am I understanding correct?

sahdgrower - No the 400w MH is a sort of pre-flower area, it will be on a 12/12 light schedule. I only have it because my veg cab is all CFL's and t5's and I want the ladies to get used to some HID lighting before I hit them with a 600 or 1000w. Plus I had this little closet and thought I might as well put it to use.

Yeah the clones that I'm buying initially will be much smaller than the the clones that will be cycling through in the future. The first table is a sort of trial run, especially since I'm growing out these Cheese N Chaze and Chemmy Jones. I will top and LST to keep my canopy even.

Woke up this morning, checked on the cab, and 3 of my 5 Cheese N Chaze seedlings were LEAANINN over. Haha, so I added some soil to the pots to get the ladies standing at attention! Everyone was watered with only water ph'd at 6.3

The runt that I had to perform surgery on is pretty far behind but for some reason I have a good feeling about her (fingers crossed)..

Here is CnC #1 this baby is my most vigorous and it already smells..

Dude! Fuck the clones! Just buy seed and be a little patient. Don't support the crook clubs selling infected clones. When you tell em they are infected they just tell you to fuck off. Plus you really don't know what you are getting or how they are grown. Go ahead ask them about their clone purchasing policy. They will take clones from any fool on a consignment basis with just a sample to prove its what it is... How they know that sample came from the clones provided I have no clue. Some kinda goddamn psychics I guess, but the Psychic powers faile them when it comes to seeing RA, or broad mites. Just my opinion but I gotta say the reason I am growing is because there are too many idiots out their buying all kindsa crap from the hydro store and pumping their plants full of it and then selling it to the clubs. Kinda like buying commercial meat.... It tastes like meat but god only knows how much added hormones, antibiotics and steroids we are eating at the same time. Gotta grow my own.

sahdgrower - I hear you about the clones. Nice to not have to cull males and pheno hunt when I'm trying to pull some decent weight though... I've worked at a few collectives so I know how dirty that whole industry is. Selling mislabeled clones, or clones with pests or PM... Fuckin crooks.

And yeah, those hydro store guys are like pirates too...

-Old School

T5 will veg way better seedlings. A MH will make the seedlings taller and lankier with alot more space between nodes.
I say go with the T5. They will actually do the opposite of what you want if you use a MH.
T5 will give you bushy.
