Many thanks OJD for these testers. Glad they included 6 beans, because I only ended up with 3 plants in veg(sssdhxsc). A few other growers have already done excellent journals on this cross, but here is mine. Started in jiffy pellets and starter dome. Put in beer cups and topped after 3 weeks of 18/6. Promix used for beer cups with some diluted Schultz fertilizer every other watering. Under 400 watt MH. Will add my other 400 watt HPS when I pot to final containers for flowering. May take 6 weeks veg so they can show progress after topping. Growing alongside my other strawberries(Pre 98 bubba kushxSC). Photos attached will update when they get potted up for flower. Looking forward to flowering and wonderful buds, just like the white jones last round. Peace and respect. Will grow in organic soil with some fox farm nutes if needed. sssdhxsc plants on left of photos with more than 3 plants. Are they slow veggers or did my topping slow them up some?

:thank you:I know it's not exciting yet, but I have up potted the sssdhXsc into their flower pots, set timer to 12/12 and replaced the HPS bulb, 400 watt. It will be used along side the 400 watt MH they were under for veg. Vegged for 6 weeks using organic soil, some perlite and organic garden lime. sssdhxsc are the middle 3 pots on the right. They were topped once. Hope the odor holds until after Christmas holidays and relatives are gone, but the door will be locked. Thanks OJD, I'm looking forward to the end results. I do have some white jones by I don't know exactly what knocked them up, going along with them, far right 3 pots. Merry Christmas growers and tokers.

:biggrin:We are at the end of one week of flowering. I have had a stretch of 2 and 1/2 to 3 times after up potting and putting into flower. They are getting more interesting and growing faster. All three have caught up with the strawberry bubba kush in height. They were shorter when up potted. I'll wait a few weeks before more photos so they can start showing all the budding sites. Looking pretty good at this stage. Oh, My sun systems 400 watt all in one fixture failed on me again. Second time in three years. The damn thing is too heavy anyway and I replaced it with a new 400 watt HPS,electronic ballast from HTG. Only $203 shipped including reflector and all cords included. Pretty good deal and much easier to raise as the plants grow.

:tiphat:They are getting more interesting. End of week 3 of flower, no tip burn from over fert because of organic soil 10/5/5 and mostly water only so far. I did feed a little Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom yesterday. I am starting to see the lower fans yellowing up, using nitrogen, but under the MH lamp not HPS so far. This gave me chance to switch out the plants under each lamp and rotate those under different lamps at this stage. Lots of bud sites on all 3 plants, stretch should be over. Now waiting on big bud development. All three plants around 3 feet in height. Perfect for my dual 400s. Frost starting to show on bud sites too. Dear OJD, these are looking real good to me at this point, Many Thanks Mon.

Per advice from LyryC I have been inspecting all three plants for ball sacks through flower. I pulled my second ball sack off of one plant this morning during inspection. I have not noticed any on the other 2 plants will inspect all three throughout flower. So far, so good. thanks LyryC for the heads up to keep these three all female.

I'll post up pics when they reach 6 weeks of flower, they are in week 5 right now. Took off only 2 sacks and so far that's been all of them, and just one plant so far. Because of LyryC's heads up I was able to pay attention and not be surprised. Kudos to LyryC and his great grow show. I love the many bud sites on these plants and tric coverage. I am using the least amount of fertilizer this grow and relying on the organic soils 10/5/5 mix to take them through most of the grow. All this hyped up feed, booster stuff may be unnecessary. We will see and many thanks OJD, wonderful beans so far. I'll also post up the 2 untopped white jones knocked up by I'm not really sure plants. They are also looking good. Peace and respect, everything is IRIE here.

:peacock:We are at 5 1/2 weeks of flowering and I gave them each 8 seconds of H2O only this morning. Watering works out to every 4th day so far. They are really looking very good at this point. Large fan leaves being used up for nitrogen as they age in flower. Least amount of nutes used for any of my previous grows, and the organic soil is working very well so far. I do like the photos and frost buildup. Two phenos look very similar in size and shape. The other one is slightly larger, but bigger buds. Bud sites are very numerous and close together on these plants. Nice trait. Half way there. Thanks again OJD.

We are near the end of the 8th week of flower for the three plants. Tric coverage is outstanding, fan leaves yellowing as they use up their stored nitrogen. Only H2O from last 4 waterings on 4 day intervals to the end. Reading when to take a sativa by color of the trics has now confused the hell out of me. Is the SSSDH/SC a sativa or hybrid? They look mixed to me, but will they have a sativa high? I am going to rely on the plant, its yellowing leaves, and color of the pistels to tell me when they are ready. OJD, when did you take these when you grew them out? Getting near the end, and many thanks OJD on these wonderful plants. Peace and respect MON. Just a note the last photo is of your white jones by ? and untopped. I have two of those going and they are so covered in trics, look fabulous.

:peacock:We are near 10 weeks of flowering. I did notice just a few amber trics on the smallest plant. Per LyryC's advice I will be looking for a few more amber trics before I harvest. Many thanks Ojd, these are looking real damn good and should yield very well.

Thanks LyryC. Watching your grow and your heads up fixed everything on this grow. Will wait until end of 10 weeks, then scope for tric color. Flushing the whole month in organic soil. Should be a clean smoke. yes the small one smells of strawberries. Saw one amber on her scope this morning. Peace and respect from under my closet.

They came down this morning for the dry box. Scraped off fingers and blades for finger hash after I was done.

:woohoo:These two are the OJD by me creations white jones by ? that came down at 11 weeks of flower. My first accidental strain grow, but I am proud of them, no hermi issues whatsoever. They look real real frosty. In box to dry. I'll let you know how they are along with the sssdh by sc after their jar cure. Thanks again OJD for the beans to test, the smells from the jar are very nice.

They have been curing for 2 months and a slight strawberry smell is starting to develop. I tried some shortly before bedtime, less than a bowl, and I do not advise it for evening before you need to sleep. It kept me up and mentally active for an hour or so. I had to turn on the TV and let the effects wear off before I was able to sleep. I do have sleep apnea and that machine plus the SSSDHby SC did not go together. Have some ready for our REO/Tunica/golf road trip coming up. I'll have another smoke impression when we return. Peace and respect.
