was time to open the tent, and what a sight, buds grew at least 20% bigger over night, and trichs are forming everywhere

Good Job with the clones! Looks like you used the rapid rooter plug? How exactly did you take your clones?

Looking real nice. Those girls are coming right along. I am glad you got everything under control!

Right now I am taking a break from growing. I am going to order some Frisian Dew and go outside this spring. I am going to grow in the sorrounding woods and fields in the Area. I am going to buy 5 Frisian Dew and grow them out 30 days, Take about 30 clones. I want to start 40 plants. I will lose probably 75% of the plants to animals, insects and rippers.

Maybe 10 will make it out of the 40. What do you think?

first i let the cubes sit in ph 5.5 water with about 1 ml grow 1 ml root juice 1 ml algamic for 2.5 - 3 liters of water for 1 hour to straighten up the ph in them

then i took them off, 45d cut with a razor about ½ - 1 cm under the lowest node, then i turn the plug upside down cause the premade hole is way too big, made a tiny pre cut into it, then added some root activator powder and put it in, making sure its sitting tight

some of them i took a bit of the outer tissue off on the lowest 1 cm, but i cant remember which of them i did it on

first 2-3 days i let them in the dome fully closed, misting 3-4 times a day and opening for fresh air 2-3 times a day, after that i open the vent holes slowly and let them get more and more air while still misting when needed

i have no experience with outdoor so i dont know, but it sounds fine

You are right, alot of people struggle with clones, mostly just the rooting part. But since you and I use the same nutrients I should have no problem getting my clones to root like yours. Did you pick up the peat plugs at your local grow supply? I will have to order some off the internet.

Did you water your clones after you initially soaked the peat plug? Or did you just mist the plants?
Did you give them any additionally heat, Like a heat mat?
What temperature did you keep them at?

I am just curious because I want to use your cloning method for my next grow!

yeah at my grow shop, they cost like ½ dollar each

what do you mean by watering the clones? i just soaked the plug and then quizzed most of the water out of them, put the clone in and mist the leafs

oh i forgot that part, yeah i made sure to give the "mother" a good watering with nutes around 24 hours before i took em, i also poured out some of the water with nutes in on the dome floor, misted the clones and sealed the dome, then after 8-12 hours i open the dome for some time and let them dry out, then misting again and sealing dome, on day 2-3 i open the vents, and then i need to mist 4-6 times a day

the 7 i got thats 7 days old is just sitting in the closet with no dome, misting them every couple hours

i was thinking to get a heat mat, but it seems that i don't need it, i don't mind that it takes a couple more days to root, im in no hurry

i didn't check the temp, i think its 18-22 c

tape is awesome, can fix almost everything with it

the only problem by using it like this is that it transfers vibrations and noise to the tent sticks, was thinking to use some bungee cord to take some of the vibrations, but i think i rather get a 2 meter high tent, then i don't have to get such a high airflow in the tube as i need now when the tops is 5-10 cm from the glass, a bigger tent gonna save me so much trouble, cant wait for it to get here

things are looking very good :)

atm im feeding 1 ml grow / 3.5 bloom / 3.5 algamic / 3.5 top max / 3.5 bio heaven

considering the crappy yellow light, and that i cant keep it steady, my galaxy3 has potential for some pretty nice macro shots, surprised me i must say

they have been stunted for at least 1 week or more, how do you experienced guys think it look? day 31 since 12/12

hey man nice plant's

i want to ask you about the 125mm ventilator that you made a sound prof chase for ? does it work with rockwoll ? becors i am thinking about making 1 my self :)

lulzz

yes it does kill the sound of the motor, but thats only 50 % of the noise, vibrations and air flow in ducting is loud too, so you need to take care of those also

nice that it work's man :) did you just buy some sound prof ducting ?

some more macros from my phone in a different light, it misses the last 10 % to make some really good picts ;&

guess i have to wait for my microscope to get some nice close ups of the trichs
