Oh Tony using the STS method~~
Well I did my best to do right by you guys. I had 4 sour bubble males to choose from.
1. Giant most vigorous, red striped hollow stem, cornstalk kush leaner
Slight hermie by throwing a few pistils in the bottom as a reaction to topping during early sexing stage of flower, drought tolerant but slight hermie stress, stressed by root cutting. Gorgeous but denied.
2. A mixed cornstalk/stretchy pheno, all lime green, slight pistil hermie on growing tips a bit more then no.1, really not much and stressed to hell by drought and root cutting, denied.
3. Runt male of the mixed variety, no vigor, lime green, never developed hollow stems. Denied for this project. Very very sour funky though.

Let it be known I torture my males to hell and back. In early flower during the sexing week to ten days I will let em dry out bad, water slightly sporadically and trim the rootball down as they start to flower.
4. This fellow said laughed at his weird little brothers and smiled. He showed absolutely no sign of anything but pure ball production with no sign of hermie anywhere. He has hollow stems and is one of the two best drought resistant specimens available. He responds very well to topping with no signs of major stalling when topped. He is a mixed pheno that stretches a decent bit for sour bubble but with a good internode spacing, he is strecthing a bit more right now under a MH that is pretty high above him to slow down flowering a bit since he is so fast till his mate is ready for him. A good lime citrus smell is developing on stem rubs that is slightly less than the funky runt. He's a tough rock solid son o bitch if all else fails!

From what I have seen of the Original DB girls by PK he is a good structural match branching wise judged via very similar topping results but he has much tighter internodes and should help control the stretching between bud sites quite a bit in a good % of his offspring for this cross. So far so good.
The girl I picked is in her first week of flowering and shes a beauty. Hope I can help make a couple people happy with the news that I found a suitable and acceptable boy in my eyes.
Btw he is only at 8 days in that pic and seems to me he will flower quickly so hopefully find a larger selection of a bit faster pheno in the his offspring. Most of the DB phenos I seen went longer but I did find that 9 week mom last time. ( got about 100-150 of them to look through for a twin of her). His early and fast flower doesnt bother me in this selection all sour bubble I seen is top notch potency wise, never seen a weak one yet. All props to BoG and PK for the awesome work and genetics.

This batch will be like that.
If the SB comes out too much and dominates I'll pick a male from the dbxsb and cross him back to the original PK DB.

I've been running strictly dstar for about 5 years after stumbling on this thread it urged me to make an account. Is there anyway I can get ahold of deathbubble beans or cut? I haven't figured out how to send pm.s here yet, I was going to message PK who I am assuming is the creator. I'm located around the Erie. Instantly started drooling seeing this cross.... Side note. She hits like a kangaroo kick to the balls..n her smell in flower is uber stenchy. Burnt rubber and gas. Most people can't handle it. 70+ day flower period. I usually pull 73-74. Hit me up with a pm.
