Is OGK still the most sought after cut(s) on the boards? ?

I scored beans of Feminized Grape Ape x THE original clone only OGK, and beans of Feminized Sour Diesel x orig. clone only OGK.

I just popped 6 of the GrapeOG's and 2 of the SourOG's. all are above soil and look great! Totally stoked to grow these out.

In all honesty a batch of GSC from NorCal was some of the best smoke I've ever encountered. The GSC here in LA is a pale comparison. Real deal GSC can measure up to OGK in smoking pleasure.

I have smoked the real GSC plenty of times... not down with watered down OG'z sorry...

OG Kush is Michael Jordan

GSC is like Tracy McGrady

It's an old metaphor. Stirring a turd brings up unpleasant smells and odours, and in parallel asking if og is still the most sought after can lead to little more than bickering among the various hype factions here. I don't mean to suggest you quit posting, just suggesting perhaps that specific question doesn't need to be reasked. One love.

You can't compare bagseed derivatives of a strain to other strains. Especially, when those bagseeds came from early stock that was created in the early stages of development when it was full of seeds. The stock I've seen over the past 2 years doesn't have any seeds.

Burner has a youtube video discussing the changes and how all these bagseeds clones you guys have are a lot different than what they're working with now.

I personally would rather have OG over the chems. Chem is just a little to gross tasting. OG is funky but it doesn't taste gross.

I've ever tried Chem 91 but I bet its more like OG.

Ickis: thats a very good questioni think alot of people do prefer og to the chemdawgs but i think that is really because most folks havent had the real cuts... there are lots of crosses sold as chemdawg cuts.

imo i think the chem family is great, especially the original pre 91 chem and now chemdawg d. they taste and reek of that dieselish fuel, lemon/ pinesol skunk, and of course the funk. i just love it. the yields aren't bad and it is potent. i find them to be great for pain relief as well as depression and anxiety.

The Gorilla Glue cut has Chem in it. Nothing weird about the flavor of that one. Superior pain relief, insomnia relief. Stress relief.
I thing as time goes by, you will hear more about that cut.

I'm glad its a free cut. I know thousands have been offered, and rejected, just to keep the Karma good. Grab it if you see it.

I have a few nice cuts. But I worry about losing my Chem D cut the most. I am about to start growing some Chem 4 again. I never gave it a real good grow before.

I can understand the smell getting to people even though I love it but the taste is crazy tasty IMHO.

Someone on here is running a LA Conf x Chem4SD I made a few years ago. That should be good. I'm thinking of popping some of those myself.

Ain't nothin lemon Pinesol about chemD .... 91 got some lemon and 4 got some pine/citrus... But the D is rotten dead funk... GROSS, hell yea but in a great way.... Sister is similar to D but a bit sweeter IMO... Well chems are not for everyone a lot of ppl can't stand that rotten gross funk a lot of us love... A good friend of mine didn't even really wanna smoke the glue cuz its chem dominant and hates chems and yes it has that chem funk so he new right away it wasn't gona be his thing... Shit is def an acquired taste.... Smell translates to taste a lot. But ppl are to quick to jump to a decision based on on smell alone....
Ur gonna love growin the 4 she is the best chem to grow... IMO she can eat more then the D cut off the n and cal week 5 give her a pk boost early and she hits bigg numbers on the scale...

def make sure you take extra cuttings of it in case you have an unforseen problem pops up. if nothing goes wrong you will have extra cuts you can gift your close friends with. im sure you have already thought of this but just incase... thats the method to my madness... always bettr to have extra than not enough.

what nutes do you use? i think you may have misunderstood me. when i said lemon/ pinesol i ment it as two seperate flavors and was commenting on the chem line and not specifically chem d. that said i have noticed a faint piney taste in chem d. its def not overwhelming by any means but its in there. when i run organc i use the bio bizz line and in hydro its the h&g line plus some organic additives.

I've noticed that the chem families tend to have army camo colors to their buds.

I've grown True Blueberry x Chem D and I can smell the "gym sock" funky smell from Chem D side. Def one of the best ever for me from seed.

OG genetics derived from Chem or vice versa? I think that a DNA test will shed lights on that eventually. Speaking of that... I'm waiting for my DNA test result to reveal my lineage from dna.ancestry.com. This thread sprinkles much truth that cannabis and humans are so much alike.
