Multi Strain Coco Recirculating Drip

Nice!

Nice!

Mmm, I want to try ALL of them, especially the Cherry AK. The Blueberry looks kind of cool with the N burn and curl ha.

What sort of aerated tea are you using? What do you think about Floralicious? Congrats on surviving the bugs.. little fuckers. You've got me on this heat treatment thing...

Any tips for it other than what you told me about timing your flooding so they feed right before and after? Sorry for being long winded.

Me too! 3 weeks to go :woohoo:

5 gallon bucket with 3+ gallons of water, 1 cup of earth worm castings, 1 tbsp of molasses, 1 tsp of Floralicious Plus, and 1 tsp of Neptune's Harvest. Air pump and a couple air stones to keep it aerated for 24 hours or so. I spray it full strength as a foliar in veg and the first week of flower. Also use it as a "flush" once a week in the root zone. I run 3 gallons through my 5" pots to remove any salt build up from the normal feeds.

Been running Floranova for a few years now. Just added Floralicious a few months back. I also started using teas about the same time. This round is definitely putting out the frost and some serious fruit aromas. Don't know how much might be the F+ vs the tea. Either way, the combo is working well.

I want to experiment with more feeds (5x or 6x a day for 1 minute, etc.) and drain to waste in the next run.

I like the idea of pest management without the use of poisons. Not sure if that is a reality or not, but I like the idea.

I can say I have definitely seen an improvement from the heat and aspirin combo. For similar results, you need to sustain a temp over 120F for an hour in the space (it might take a few attempts to accomplish this), turn off all fans in the space, and make sure the plants have plenty of water before/after the treatment. Your medium and feed schedule will determine when they will need more water or when will be the best time to do the treatment.

It took me a few tries to get and sustain 120+ for an hour. I'm definitely planning how I can setup my next room to super heat as part of the design.

Thanks a lot buddy. Appreciate you responding to my questions!

No problemo

Nice work interested to see how the BB works out for you.
Thanks bt! The Blueberry is putting out some nice frost and has solid blue/purple buds developing. She would do a lot better without all the nitrogen in the Floranova though. I love how easy FN Bloom is, but I could do better with a PK additive so I can increase those 2 nutrients without overfeeding N.

A little over 2 and half weeks to go. Stay tuned!

I started using caps bennies(ogbiowar) brewed into a tea with ewc and alfalfa meal and my girls love that shit. since I started the tad 18mos or so ago, I hadn't seen a fungus gnat in my garden( one of the benefits of the bennies). from what I understand, it's one of the cheaper sources of the long list of beneficials in the nute foliar and root packs. check them out at ogbiowar.com. use the coupon code"farmer" and you either get free shipping or a better deal.

What's up Otis. Thanks for the coupon code bro! I have not used capulators bennies or ogbiowar, but I have heard a lot of good things. Which pack/s do you use?

cool setup:)

Thanks Toke! It's small, but it gets the job done ;)

End of Week 6 - 42 days

End of Week 6 - 42 days

Ok, entering week 7 today and on the home stretch. Less than 2 weeks to go.

I'm still feeding 3x a day, but I have taken the ppm down to 600-700 and upped the ph to 5.8-6.2. I will be reducing ppms over the next 2 weeks with plain water add-backs and then give a fresh water res for 3-5 days before harvest. Will also flush 1 more time next weekend with a molasses/EWC tea.

A few group shots of the whole crew and then a couple closeups of the Blueberry and Blue Dream. These are from yesterday.

Beginning of Week 8 - 50 days

Beginning of Week 8 - 50 days

I'm a day late on this update. Went up to Tahoe for the weekend to enjoy the spring conditions at Northstar. :)

I have continued to add-back plain water to the res and checked yesterday it was down to 300ppm (150ppm tap). I topped off with plain water and left it at 6.1ph. I'm going to let them drink this for the next 3 days and then do 2 days of plain water before the chop.

It is pretty hard to get them in and out of the tent at this point. Everything is getting heavy and floppy.

Here are a couple group shots in the tent and then the Blueberry and Blue Dream close ups.

No problem dude. Hope you enjoy this week's update and I'll be sure to share the before and after chop photos. I'll be in really good shape if everything tastes as good as it smells.

Where did you pick up the Broads from?

Couldn't say for sure. My guess would be the Sour Strawberry from Organicann, but I don't know. Could have been a hydro store or another club I visited. The veg area broke out first where I had 2 Sour Bubble moms (from seed) and 1 Sour Strawberry mom (from Organicann clone). I also had 4 SB clones, 4 SS clones, and 4 Cherry Pie clones (from the Peace in Medicine clones) in the same area. I went out of town for Christmas and all of the plants were completely devastated when I returned.

I'm convinced the source of the pests is not the problem. The problem is dealing with them effectively so they are dealt with no matter how they might get into the garden. I got by with imid and neem for quite a while, but I need to get something else in the rotation or switch it up altogether to make sure all the bases are covered.

These ladies pulled through nicely and will come down in 3 days. Harvest shots coming this weekend!
