perpetual gorw questions

afternoon everybody, i just was wondering what formula you guys use for perpetual grows, like how many plants in at what time when clones are taken how big you let them get , transplant times and what not, here is a vid i made yesterday of my setup so far http://www.youtube.com/user/KushMasterFatt?feature=mhee#p/a/u/0/JL98JzU6ado , i love feedback so let me know what you think and any suggestions/comments you have about it thanks for everybodys help so far! :tiphat:

i run multi strain perpetual grow and i have been learning what works to keep me in meds and its a personal prefrence on how many plants in flower and how many clones to take.

i only take as many cuts as i need and it takes me 7-10 days to fully root them so ill take my cuts 14 days before i flower that strain. im moving to bigger / less plants so i only take 1cut from the doner and its plenty big by the time her slot opens up to flower.

i am aiming at harvesting 2 plants per month and most of my strains are 65-70 d to flower but i use a software program, Grow Assistant, to keep things straight.

i use GH Maxibloom @ 1tsp / gal H2O from rooted clone to harvest and 5 d prior to a 14 d flush i add to my nutes 1/2 tsp GH Kool Bloom. Maxibloom makes things alot easier when you have multiple strains in different stages of development.

Hello, I am doing a multi strain perpet. for the first time. most of these strains are new to me so I have no set time table. I am harvesting about every 10 days. Mostly I let my gurls tell me when it is time to move to the next station. As for clones? Well I just always hav at least two clone boxes and a couple rooter trays strokin along. Any extras are passed out to the needy. Good luck

Hey KushFatt,

I've been learning the ropes to organic, multistrain, perpetual for a while now. For awhile I was not comfortable or confident in my cloning abilities. Got in the habit of taking more clones than needed. Now that I can clone, some get culled.

Sometimes I hold a plant in a Beercup for too long, even in the 6" pots they get too big. Upcan into 5g and away they go. I always have a few rootbound bonzai's waiting to be turned loose.

Now that things are more squared away I can take more advantage of keeping a plant at 100% from cut to chop.

Timing everything to be ready, step by step, is a challenge. Everybodies circumstances and grow style differ. Without exceeding your plant # Max. Try to have extra at each step, worst case you can give a couple to a friend.

I clean out the Beercup and 6" girls this time of year, plant'em outside. There's a few good friends and relatives that benefit from my ugly duckling spares. By the time they stress, recover, and get shaped/trimmed they are booming along maturing into fullfigured ladies.

Please excuse the ramble.

Thanks for asking a very interesting question, great to learn about how others do it.

Respect,

Think in terms of 28 day cycles. If you stick with the program it = 13 crops a year...Obviously 6 0r 10 week strains would have to be accounted for..
Take cuts every 28 days-veg[4-6 weeks depending on end size wanted] avg 8 week flower cycle...repeat.......Use a large block calendar to lay it out, when to clone ,date plants went into flower, projected end date etc...
The only big problem with perpetual growing is there is never a good time to clean up,or if you get bugs/fungas/diseases you run the risk of contaiminating other plants in the block..
Hope this helps...Been running perpetual gardens for years ,aint done yet..E/C
