Second Grow Blue Mystic clone

Hello all I have been lurking for a while here and have gathered a ton of useful info. This is my second grow my first was a success in the fact that I made it to harvest but I had MANY stumbles along team way. This grow is going more smoothly with a few minor problems but all in all great.

I'm growing a single plant in a 1.5 square foot speaker box. I'm using coco/ perlite with the Canna line of nutes and a little blackstrap molasses. I'm using Cfl bulbs 150watts total 5 X 30w

Hey Sift thanks for stopping by I don't think I can give a fair assessment of the Blue Mystic because I made so many errors in that first run I was lucky to get a harvest. The smoke was a very nice upgrade from the brick weed it was use to smoking.

Was this plant grown from seed? or was it a clone? Doing another round?

Hey Blynx thanks for stopping by before I answer your question I have to extend you a thanks your grow log was an absolute inspiration and was one of the reasons I decided to start trying to grow my own smokes and now I'm smoking top shelf and no more brick weed. But yes she is a clone from my first grow and I think I will give her another round I have one more BM clone and a northern lights I'm currently mainling and I'm gonna throw her in my new 150 hps tent and run the BM in my cfl cab.

Today was chop day and I'm sad and excited at the same time. I had grown quite fond of this girl but sadly her time with me had to come to an end. I'm excited to see how she smokes this time under better circumstances. She smells WONDERFUL like sweet dank citrus with a skunky undertone.

I'm thinking of doing three plant on this next round. I'll maybe run 1 in my cfl cab and two in my new tent. I'll run 1 more blue mystic clone and 2 northern light clones from my first run and if they go good I have WW,pineapple chunk,sharksbreath or aurora indicia to choose from and a super silver haze but I think I'll wait a while before I try a sativa.

good job man and now that you have a second tent you can start learning bonsai and cloning techniques so you can begin putting together your collection of flavors, the one you have now sounds like your first 'keeper', at least until you find something better or you get tired of her, lol.

...you do still have a clone of her, right?

I would like to try some more lst training though and would love nothing more than a tent full of exotic smelling dank.

...that's great that you are already cloning in straight coco which simplifies things, i grow in coco hempy buckets so potting up my clones is very stress free.

...anyway, i gave up LST long ago as too much bother although i have to admit i never flowered using LST but only employed the technique on my bonsai mothers back when i was still growing in soil.

...back then i was still learning my chops growing under CFLs and searching for a reliable and repeatable way to fill my needs.

...this is the motherbox i built back then that housed 21 of those bonsai mothers which is why the mothers were forced to suffer my bondage.

...i think more headroom would be a much less labor intensive way to grow bud than LST, i am a lazy phuck by nature so i like things easy and uncomplicated.

From the looks of it you are skilled in the art of lst. Nice lookin cab by the way. I built mine from and old speaker box the use to be in my room in high school. I didn't photograph the process though my old lady was on the fence about the whole thing so I didn't want to spook her out by taking photos. Coincidentally I found a stash of old seeds in the box that I'm pretty sure are from some skunk weed that we were smoking on in the mid 90's. From what I remember that smoke made my toenails numb but I've tried to germ about ten and none have popped.

Hey bozo I'm not sure of the process of how to give reps since I'm new here but I wanna say thanks for sharing those pics and helping noobs like me get started in this game. Few months ago I was smoking brick weed now this shit I'm smoking and GROWING is light years ahead of that!!!

Well she has been harvested,dried and she is curing right now. I got 47 grams dried less than the 56 I was hoping for but I'm cool with it. I have learned that environmental conditions will affect the quality of your bud for this smoke is superior to my last run of the exact same plant. I currently have 2 northern lights and one small blue mystic running in my tent now and I don't think this run will be to interesting so I won't be posting it but I plan on pineapple chunk and sharksbreath for the next run and I will be posting that on.
