I'd say start at 50/50 with the 70% isopropyl , and bump it up if you need too. That melts them on houseplants, ive never dealt with them on ganja.

wish i could help unc.....never ran into whiteflies before....just those damn fungus gnats!

gotta build a screen quick to dry the remaining nugs since they are smaller quarter sized....

Quick Question: What do you guys suggest for a larger storage container....air tight? Filling tons of jars isnt bad but itd be easier to check humidity once in a larger container than having Caliber IVs in every single jar!

Thanks! :tiphat:

Thats where you have to be careful. It appears you mean 35% alcohol content. ( 50% of 70%ISO)

Never spray buds with above 50% ISO during bud. 70% will kill the stamen, and 90% will melt trichomes real quick and damage the bud.

Yeah I think it was the Spinosad that I sprayed in the arch tree, over the back garden, and the shrubs around the plants, and on the plants.

The fukin white flies shit out of the tree onto any plants below, every year. The spinosad knocked them out and stayed active long enough to keep them away. Problem solved.

I'm not sure about carburizing, actually not sure I understand it. I am lightly heating the jar by keeping it on the top of my t5 veg lights, and every once in a while placing it near the stove while cooking.
I think DE on the top of my mix kept my flies away, it's the damn mites that I still have. Never went with avid yet tho

CAP try the AVID it worked good 4 me.

I was wrong! I looked at the Spinosad and whiteflies arent listed. So I called Monterey Garden ( Its in Fresno) and asked them. It is not effective against Whiteflies, and they have no organic spray that is.

Oh wait...... I think I sprayed them with Lavender and rosemary oil. Just a couple teaspoons in a half gallon sprayer, with some Peppermint soap and peppermint oil too. Thats why they stayed away. LOL

Sorry for the misinfo Bro.

I like to keep Avid use to a minimum. I try and only use it on baby plants, long before they go into bud. I revert to organics after that and just keeping any pest populations under control as best as possible

well that sort of sucked....went out riding, got out and did the trails i wanted, got to within 3 miles of home and flatted out...stopped,swapped the tube out,got lazy and didnt really check the inside of the tire, got lazy again, got the co2 inflator out, gassed the tire back up,and promptly froze the valve stem, flatted out again less than a mile from home and had to frickin walk....grr....so much for tomorrows planned ride, going to need to grab more co2 cartridges so i can swap the new tires on and get the done up with stan's no tubes...lol,i swear everytime i turn around the bike needs another 30 bux...

thats true...or it could have happened while i was still out on the trail or instead cracked a 500 dollar rim...i could have fixed it,i had everything i needed, but it was quicker to walk home than sit there with a patch kit and wait for the glue to set and try and limp the bike home when i already have the new set of tires and the no tubes stuff just sitting and waiting to be installed...my fault for being lazy,i forgot to deflate the tires when i got on the trail so they were still at road psi and i really should have stopped and taken the 30 seconds to let some air out since i was skating around like crazy on the way down...i totally biffed it in a section i normally sail through and forgot i put cleats on the bike so i totally ate it...but then i was pissed so i picked up the pace in the last bit of trail and actually nailed that bit....shit,it was good ride home too,had a nice tailwind for once so i was cruising....ah well, still a good ride,it was mildly shitty beating into the wind on the way out,any ride in crappy conditions is a good ride...i got a lot of work to do learning how to mountain bike well....
