that guy in particular has a raging boner for OGK. he's been following me around neg reppin and unhelpful'ing all my threads simply because i dared to ask what makes OGK better than any other OG and are all those other OG's just OGK crossed to something else? and if so how come something like cookies has more hype behind it if OGK is the best?

Anyone have experience with adub? Curious how she compares to GG#4...?

I have run the a dub and never really liked her, I know a lot of peps love her but the gg4 is a far better over all plant, more smell, taste and high imo.

there will be s1's I am told and some cuts, I wont say who's bringing what until its all verified and confirmed, sunsetlimited is doing all the dirty work as entry fees and footwork, he deserves a lot of karma for what he is doing and I am sure the seeds and cuts wont be free as it cost quite a bit to set this up.

Im sorry but I thought Glue was supposed to be passed profit free from 1 'deserving' gardener to another.

I understand Sunset is footing a big bill to enter it and by all means sell all the seed you want (Lawd knooows I want some), but...

Now it will be available to anyone with a wallet? Whats to stop a few dozen dispos from growing this themselves?

1 of the more important attributes that makes having Glue special will be lost. Im sure by now someone has sold cuts be they real or fake, but open public sale will blow open the doors for fakes and cuts-for-profit.

I don't mind paying for gg4 shit I don't mind helping out if you guys need help joesy I'm from the area let me know. Have people pay and show their icmag handle log in I don't know but I do know it would be nice to get this cut in the stable I sure as hell ain't giving it to a club. There will be fakes no matter what happens.

Your just lookin at it the wrong way wildgrow . if he had the bank to cover the costs at the cup ... i'm quite sure things would be different . do you want to pitch in so he doesn't have to come out of his pocket for this ??? if we all did ... then he could pass them on freely .... but who's going to be the one to make sure the people from dispo's aren't there standing with their hands out too .

That looks to be the heaviest yield of her yet Unc !!! the 45 might be the pot size that makes the difference for ya . maybe you'll even wind up with the 1 ounce top your lookin for with that beast !!!
hell , i get 15 gram tops on some of mine & they don't look that big !!!
i can't wait to weigh out the 2 i have in 3 1/2 gallon pots .... there looks to be alot more than i ever got in the 2's

I am hoping that it doesn't make it to the hands of the depos than it will be whored out molested and never the same.

I also think that is what makes her so special is that she is being shared among friends or fellow growers. I mean I still don't have the cut yet but I am patiently waiting knowing that she will land in my lap in time. Was already told she will be coming my way just being patient waiting on the cuts to root and get to me.

Also hiding in the haze wants Gsc seeds so if he thinks in anyway that the glue is being hyped that is a way off statement the gsc was hyped I mean Gsc is a good strain but I would take the pre2k blueberry over any gsc cut but hey that's just me.

People that have her and growing her and enjoying her and if showing some pictures off of a beautiful plant and a few growers reporting how happy they are with her is hype then damn almost every strain would be considered hype in my book because people also are excited when they grow a good strain.

Hype is a bad word to use when talking about this strain. I would rather call it growers Excited with her overall excellent properties hyping to me would be J.W holding the cut for profit and purely just profit and not passing her on to friends to pass on to other friends.

Hype to me is the real Gsc cut not the forum because shit how many people can show you pictures of the real cookie fam gsc cut of girl scouts? Not many unless you are in there right circle. Also weren't the gsc cuts selling for tons of money well even fake cuts and bag seed cuts that came out of gsc buds? That's hype!

Plus, i think its important to remember here that SL didnt just say screw JW. Im pretty sure he got the go ahead.
And it is JW's baby after all. And if he's cool with it, who's to tell him otherwise. I personally think that the way JW has handled the GG4 has been NOTHING but generous, even inspirational.
Thats my opinion at least.

I hope I haven't made a mistake with this decision but we all know what happens in this business and like I said the cut has spread now to the point where there really isent any control of who gets it and I am really curious to see how it does at the cup, I my be really disappointed but I will just have to wait and see,

I can't say about the heat factor , my room never gets above 80 ,I did get some purpling this time from the colder night temps . never seen it as pronounced as this round .
but the light .... she loves the light !!! the more the better she likes it . i've had branches come out from under the net & come around half circle to get to the light !!! she stretches for it too if its to far away from it .

smokin my first gg harvest... verry nice... had some kinda prob and the nugs came out tiny, but good.

next batch is much bigger, hydro glue has some monster nugs

It is different than what we have previously known as an "elite" due to several
factors, most notable are the J-shaped trichomes and the presence of trichomes
on certain leaf surfaces that has never been seen in a macro photograph before now.

Also the trichomes are somehow organized in a tighter, denser pattern as
compared to other plants. There are no broken trichomes, or trichomes
all sprawled out on top of each other, like you see in many other plants.
Maybe the capitate stalks are just very strong in this strain, and as such
they do not break off during the flowering period. It doesn't appear as if
the gland heads are any larger than the gland heads of other strains.

If the Cup has access to a quality-controlled sophisticated laboratory,
then we would know more about the cannabinoid and terpene profile,
and this information would be more important than if it wins a trophy
in my humble opinion, although of course I would love for some Gluers
to win the cup and get the recognized for their work with this strain.

Damn, this thread keeps growing and growing!
I been lurking on and off for a while. GG#4 certainly impressive looking
flowers, no doubt.
So, no plans to bring any GG to the cup in April?? I'll be flying to CO. on the 18th and would love to be able to mark this off the list by the time I leave. Hoping to be able to smoke a small list of strains I haven't been privy to here in the bluegrass. Looking forward to meeting some cool peeps as well. Any of you guys going to be in attendance??

Yea I had 1 close 2 light n she burned easy

I use Gavita so yes the tops will get crispy at a distance of 15" from the bulb. I noticed it very early so I was able to save all of the tops.
Third also has had experience with this.

Well one thing I must admit about this thread. Although there is some disagreement and bantering on the glue, it has not turned into a regular brawl such as the GSC forum on another site.

I have grown the three original cuts (Forum, Platinum, and Thin Mint) and they were all expensive at first, some going for a 100 a pop when they hit the dispensaries. Befpre being available at the dispensaries, the cut was going for 1k and probably more in some circles. The fighting was immense on whose cut was the "original" GSC and the "hype" was unreal. Burner of course claimed his cut was the original, and since he is a regionally famous rapper and dispensary owner, there was a lot of "hype" with the GSC since it was mentioned in some of his recordings and videos.

Not sure that the "glue" will reach that "hype" status, thank God. It seems to remain in a tight circle of knowledgeable individuals and probably will not skyrocket to the heights that GSC and GDP have achieved. I remember people talking about how awesome the GDP strain was, and they knew nothing about genetics at all. Just tossing around keywords so their peers would think they were cool.

I am hoping the "glue" does well in LA, if not to just reward the individuals who are so devoted to it. If it should win, then expect a lot of hype. Till then it is probably the best kept secret around. In my humble opinion, I would rather have it acclaimed by the knowledgeable as being the best around rather than have it raped and plummeted because it has been seriously "hyped up" by unknowing souls.

Just my 2 cents worth, which is probably worth nothing.

Go glue go. We will be cheering you on in LA.
