I saw top shoots clawin the last pic set , but waited for YOU to notice it and respond Bro....and guess what.....

You saw it and reacted so that`s just 1 less thing to worry bout next run when dialin nutrient requirements.....now.....The guy that posted bout puttin fans blowin directly on plants to strengthen stems and "possibly" control stretch needs ta do some more homework ........

When you point fans directly at plants indoors , ALL it does is cause excess transpiration that in turn DIRECTLY affects nutrient uptake that will RIGHT behind it cause ph issues and potential lockouts and imbalances if not handled......and....

Silicablast for stemwall strength and overall plant health is solid info for floppy stems , and glad you`re loggin al these issues into memory Dabs , cuz it only gets better and easier from here.....anyways....

Keep strokin Bro......DHF....:ying:.....

Im still learning and by no means a pro. just trying to think outside the box, but I'm very appreciative for you explaining what that does to the plant since I've put fans directly on plants before myself..

Try using T8's for starting seeds. That's how I do mine and I pop seeds like a junkie shoots dope. I can put the bulb just about on the plant. I have seedlings right now that have 3 sets of branches and they are only 4" tall. Nice thick stems on them too. The air in the area I start my seeds is always circulating too. I use roots organic in coco at 2 tsp per gallon until about a week after the plant comes up. Then they get lower strength grow food until I think they can take full strength.

I have some T12's no T8's. I'll try it next go. Got the t5 about 6 inches above them. Temps at 78*, humidity +/- 50%

Looking pretty nice in there bro!

Mister_D's formula for coco is 2:2?

Anyone adding epsom salts in the mix? Or is there enough Mg w/ straight Jacks + Calcnit?

I don't have any mag def that's noticeable on mine but I did go w/ 3:2:1 Hydro:Calcnit:Epsom. It'd be nice to cut out the Epsom salts if it's overkill

Them beans are dampin off and won`t make it much longer without dryin out Bro...Look how much smaller the lil stemlets are at container level compared to whaere the cotyledons are up top....now....Guys.....

I learned this from Heath yrs and yrs ago bout sproutiin beans , so I`ll give credit where credits due as I always have in that once beans pop and form the first set of leaves , blast their ass with light and let rootzones dry and build rootmass but KEEP rootzones "moist" not wet....but.......

Rootin cuts is a whole different ballgame altogether so NEVER root cuts and sprout beans in the same place...and why ?.....Cuts will grow foliage INSTEAD of roots with 50 watts per sq ft/432 watt T-5`s , so regular old shoplites/T-8`s raised up above the cuts instead of directly down on beans to grow rootmass with drying out periods aight ?.....and yeah Bro .......

I agree with too much N , but I know Nada bout Jack`s so try Dbro`s 2/2 and see if it helps.....dunno.....and lastly.......

Silicablast......lways used it from when plants were rooted and established and into pre-veg mode under the T-5`s.....and hey Mr Gt.....

Just tryin ta help Bro...no biggie.....thinkin outside the box is what got me retired and where I am today , so by all means carry on with my blessings......but....

Environment is FINITE and NOT to be fucked with......Dial it and reap the rewards guaranteed....bet on it.....anyways....Been cold as fuck down my way and I`m at the fuckin beach....WTF...?....

Global warmin my ass....:moon:.....

Peace....Freds....:ying:....

No need for epsom, there is plenty in the jacks.

Mister D's formula is 2g of each per gallon, then dilute res to 1.2ec.
Just to see, i mixed up 2g of each in a gallon of water, and each was 450ppm. So essentially, its 1:1. To mix my res i just add 300ppm of jacks, and then 300ppm of calcnit.

The nutrient profile that you get from that is posted above..

As far as cloning in the perlite/coco, it was what i had laying around from a pre mixed batch and i didnt want to drive to the store. Lazy stoner shit. Less dabs bro. Less dabs.

I've been really careful (maybe too careful) in how much water ive been giving the seedlings. That pic was after i watered them for the first time in like 5ish days? The coco was pretty much dry, with a few bubbles of condensation on the sides of the clear cups. Anyways, i guess im trying to say i dont think i overwatered them..

I agree, the stems are too weak for how tall they are..but how the f do i control that?

And just to make sure i understand you;

Clones need shoplights or T8's not directly on top of them to build rootmass, and seeds need a shit load of light right on top of em?

Yo bro;

"and let rootzones dry and build rootmass but KEEP rootzones "moist" not wet.."

That is confusing shit dog.

Let rootzones dry...When? After seeds pop out of the soil and sprout the first cotlydon?
Keep rootzone moist not wet... When? I thought we were letting them dry?

Yessir......Low light for cuts , and once beans are established , blast their ass with light AND environment.....now....

After hearin they weren`t watered for almost 5 days , then THAT`s why the lil stemlets are shriveled up....Dehydration.....anyways....

I`ve murdered 1000`s of beans and cuts on the path to dialage and Nirvana....80% RH and 80 degrees for cuts and beanage with damn near 100 % success with the right substrate dialed....

Shit happens....Adapt or perish...

okay, i understand the lights. Now, do you mind explaining a little bit more the "Dry, wet, moist" conundrum. Lol.

My understanding was you wanted to do almost wet/dry cycles when transplanting clones or rooting seeds. Ive read so much "wet is bad bad bad" when talking about seeds..There was some moisture in the cups..I thought i wanted to let the roots hunt it out...
