Caught a movie on Netflix last night called 'Losers Take All' about a fictional band in the 80's. Good movie, and some great songs in the movie. Listening to some of that at the moment.
A hapless but talented mid-1980s indie rock band tries their hardest to blow a record deal, a tour, and their friendship, but can’t even manage to succeed at failure...
by Spoon also, I'm quite fond of; Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, Girls Can Tell, and Kill the Moonlight. Those three would be my top three reccomendations but I've just started to listen to Transference and I'm liking it also. Britt Daniel and Jim Eno are awesome together.
46 and 2 a Tool song covered by Aaron O'Keefe's a music teacher and teaches mostly middle school aged kids. The girl is I think 11 at the time and AWESOME (weird hearing a girl sing it though) The drummer is kicking it!
