I think this is just excellent. People lining up to buy marijuana legally with smiles on their faces and no looking over their shoulders. Talk about moving in the right direction.

Say what you want about it, but Colorado adds a 25% tax to the sale of cannabis - meaning that the state made 250k in one day for the public school system. Considering how weak the education system is here in California, I would expect to see something similar here VERY soon.

Madness is solid stuff and definitely old school. For sure Sub would know if it's legit. I vaguely remember some Mountain Madness beans floating around. I had the Madness cut for awhile yet my buddy killed it.

A friend wanted to make his veg setup brighter, so I suggested using an old keg I had lying around for CFL spider housing / reflectors. I got all hot rod with it and paint one candy apple red and the other a green with a bunch of pearl. The green one saw an additional 1950's customs trick with a sheet of lace and a slightly darkened version of the original color sprayed for added texture. I still have to attach the stainless hardware and fixtures, each keg will have 6 23w CFLs inside. I'll see what I can do to take some shots of them when they're hanging up later this week.

Finally had a day off & got things pushed forward
I changed the bed / drain tray setup from what I had pictured last. I'm using 3" drain pipe to elevate the grow bed out of the drain basin. This approach gains me about a foot of headroom which is good since my ceilings are only 7'. I put in redundant fountain pumps that i'll use to drain the catch basin.
Got the bed mostly full with pH conditioned rockwool & hydroton. Today I'll top it of & also fill some other containers that will be outside the pool.

My last post didnt show my exhaust vent very well

There used to be a pre-filter mounted in the wood frame. My carbon scrubber is built in and will be a complete PITA to replace so I need to extend its life any way possible. Part of switching to the Gavita fixture was re-positioning the pre-fiter. Its now tucked up in the duct ...actually was able to increase the surface area of the pre-filter which should help maintain airflow as it gets dirty.
