Ive already spent over 1200 dollars on my first grow room. PLEASE HELP!!!

I found a temp controller at lowes for 26 bucks which i will wire into my fan to control heat with my lights. I will set the temp to 82 so the fans will be on if the temps get higher than 82. I will set my ac to 85 so my ac will kick on above 85 degrees. So my temps should stay around 85 degrees. I will have to fine tune this though.
Sometimes its a slow march to get started. Lets see some pics.
Alright guys, I kknow im doing this slow as fuck..but I have been keeping busy. Just wanted to let you know ive got the several main things in my grow. Ive got the electrical installed. 2 20a 120v plugs, got the ac installed (which is vented into another room, which I installed a vent fan to cool that room off) and hung my lights... im waiting on some insulation before I can mount my fan and run the vent..which I should get today and I lost or I think someone stole my camera so ill have to get some on here tonight when I borrow my uncles camera. stayed tunneedd.
Also I read that putting your ac on the top is bad bc the cool air falls on my plants, but I was thinking it wouldn't be that bad bc ill have plent of air circulation.

ps. I know the electrical cover plate is sticking out way more than the outlet. but that it because of the sulation. But it had to be that way to get the best seal. I sprayed expanding insulation foam in/around my outlets to create an airtight seal. then I used foil tape for double insurance. FOIL TAPE RULES!!!! and 3rd is the outter insulation. so the outter isulance is about 1 in think,, hence the gap. coulda put it under but then there would still be an indention. The cover plate is really just for show.
Little bit more detail. Both intake and outtake vents have filters on them... I lights are connected to my 8in fan. fan will be blowing cool air over my lights to prevent smell leaks. I put plastic on my walls covered by insulation...the roof also has double insulation. I wil connect both my 1000w and 400w now but only run the 400w through veg and turn on the 1000w for flower... well that's about all the main stuff I can think of right now. will post more pics later on today or tomorrow. Anyone sugest a good CO2 setup from tanks to regulators to controllers and monitors. that will be my next big investment along with my dehunidifer which I think ill just pick up at lowes. I can also pick up my tank here in town but idk about everything else.

shit man the first few years.. i thought i was spending too much.. and i was fucking pissed..
then i started budgeting.. and i keep a journal with everything i buy.. what prices.. and receipts.. so i know how much im using and how much each grow is costing me. the cheaper i can make each harvest cost me .. the cheaper my patients and friends get there buds..
growing bud is simple.. growing the best bud around is a lot tougher. and growing amazing bud efficiently is even tougher.. i know dudes who just toss up 2xs as many lights as they need.. fill there rooms as full as possible. flower.. and there blumats take care of all the watering.. and they do dick for work.. and there bud fetches 2200an LB. there happy with that.. i have a tiny operation and i come in at 1/4 there harvests and make anywere from 4-4800 an lb. obviously i don't wholesale it and sell it by the lb.. but still i have 2 lights.. and i make a few grand less then them per harvest.. and i pay 1/8th the electric bill.. and had a tiny start up cost compared to them..
so like i said.. grab a notebook.. start writing down wat your spending.. then write down next to the items.. if they are a 1 time buy.. .. and when u sell your bud or watnot.. see if your covering your costs.. and how much profit your making..
and remember.. your better off spending the extra money on good bulbs on ebay.. because 1 they last longer.. and 2 they usually put out more light.. the hortis are great.. and u can get 3-5 crops with them.. the cheap bulbs.. i was switching out every 2 crops and wen i ran 1 room with hortis that had 5 runs on them already... and a cheap bulb i cant remember if it was plant max or ultrasun .. but either way.. the cheap bulb had 2 crops on it.. and i did a test to see what bulb was worth keeping around.. and the horti yielded 100 grams more then the cheapo bulbs.. the horti on its 6th crop.. and the cheap bulb on its 3rd. so that says a lot to me.

thanks for the info about the bulbs. Yeah ive spent about 2 grand give or take a couple hundred. But im not growing for profit. I really just want something good to smoke on for me and my family, couple firneds. Maybe just sell a couple ozs for cost of fert and bulbs electricity ect. but I really injoy the hobby, although this wil be my first grow room
But I am trying to do everything to right way the first time. After my co2 and dehumidifier I think I would have everything ill need. unless anyone can suggest anything else I might need.

its a good hobby to have.. keeps me busy.. and keeps me from smoking any garbage weed.. especialy when most grow for profit.. so quality isn't being picked unless its a huge yielder also.. so u see more mid level smoke . me personally I grow a few extremely low yielding strains. but the best herbs ive come across.

its all personal pref with strains man.. u like indica or sativa theres a million diff kinds lol.. I buy 50-100 seeds of a single strain. run 50-100 seeds .. find keepers and make f2s and crosses. n o from there..

threads like this hurt me, cause i grew plenty of weed with bagseeds and stuff from lowes and goodwill for like 50 bux a grow for years, then i finaly upgraded and spent 400 bux at the grow store for light hood fan plugs and ferts and such. i had way more than enough weed for couple of people. and id have so many strains was retarded . all ya need is a seed hookup and a green thumb. you could have had a couple of harvests already behind the plastic , all ya need is a seed, dirt, water and a light , light proof that plastic, pow ! just pull it back when lights on and close it at lights off , get a box fan for 5 bux . get growing already !!!

ya do it cheap like a highschool kid.. an you get highschool nugs.. sry. clones are only available to certain folks.. seeds are for everyone.. so if u wana grow bag seed and waste a bunch of time growing some bud that will more then likely hermi.. and produce a nice seed filled harvest.. go for it..
and noob.. its not about growing.. its about your personal pref for smoking.. do u like kushy.. fruity.. etc.... do u like sativas upper high . or indica downer high/ stoned..
do u want something for pain.. or for anxiety or nausea .. or you just looking for anything cause u been smoking garbage? or what man..
just make sure when your running seeds.. to take a clone or 2 .. before u flower her out.. so if u end up with some amazing buds.. u can keep producing them..
but my biggest mistake.. was doing a cheapo grow.. with shit lights.. with shit setup.. and bagseed genetics.. don't get me wrong the bud was alright.. but the time I wasted doing all that crap. and having 20 bag seeds all different strains.. and then u get an uneven canopy.. with shity lights.. this hurts yield drastically. so like I say to my friends.. if u wana grow.. do it right. the results come out better.. u have to replace less bullshit.. and u have a room that wont light on FIRE

another thing.. when u hook up your fans.. that green one u have looks like ur turning it into a 6in from 8 . or a 4 from 6... this drastically cuts down on ur air flow.. 1.. and 2 .. when u hang ur fans.. u wana make sure u can turn them on. after hooking up ducting and they aren't making tons of noise outside ur room..
everything else looks good.. I wouldn't put my fan there but hey. u can move shit around and figure out how it works once u get going..
but u want to act like ur ducting is going to be moving WATER.. make sure ur ducting is stretched and not all bent around and shit.. just so u know.. anything that u think water wouldn't run threw nice and fast.. air isn't going to either. lol.. just an easy way to explain that..
