What's up everybody?

I was a part of the IC community years ago and learned so much from everyone on here. I used to have a small 4 x 3 closet to flower in and now I've got a full 10 x 10 room. It is, however, still in progress. I'm hoping to get some help with set up from you guys!

I've got my veg cab up and running and the bloom room is in the making!

Here are some Animal Cookies and the Platinum Cookies I've been smoking on from my local collective, just to give you some bud porn!

I've got 4 GSC plants and 1 rather large Pineapple Thai. I will be taking 12 clones of each strain (because I have 2 cloners, both holding 12 plants). I wait until the ladies are thirsty before I take cuttings... I heard that helps with rooting times/development :yay:

If anyone has suggestions please let me know! I have not flowered any ladies in a long time and am rusty to say the least. So any help is much appreciated. In the meantime, here is some bud I got from BOG himself at the Emerald Cup in mid-December...

Thought I would share some photos from my first couple of runs years ago. All of these were grown in FFOF with Advanced Nutirents. Flushed for about 2 weeks, give or take a few days depending on the strain and how high the PPM's were. Given only molasses during flushing time. RO water for the last 4-5 days.

So this is what I've been working on. I've got a 10 x 10' room with a small 2.5 x 6' closet that I've removed the doors from and will be used as a sort of pre-flower area. The pre-flower section was finished yesterday although I may at some point change out my flimsy ducting for some more rigid stuff.

In my room there will be...

(1) 1000 watt HPS - old school magnetic ballast
(1) 600 watt M/H - Lumatek digital
(1) 600 watt HPS - Xtreme Nano digital
(1) 400 watt M/H - Lumatek digital (reflector)
(2) 6" Vortex exhaust fan (452 cfm)
(1) 4" intake fan (I believe its around 180 cfm)
(1) Frigidaire window A/C 8,000 BTU
(3) Wall mounted oscillating fan
(3) 4 DIY tables for plants

Stoned, so, I'm probably forgetting some things haha. Anyways, here are some pictures..

The window A/C (the panel on the wall is where 3 of 4 ballasts will hang)

400 watt pre flower (the insulation is deceiving, the ducting is actually pretty straight)

This 4" fan intakes air from the attic and pumps it into my preflower which cools the area around the light

I'm on a budget so I can't exactly construct this grow the way I see it in my head but I will do well with what I've got. Will post more progress tomorrow or the next day!

Here's some of the equipment I will be using, as well as an aerial shot of the pre-flower area. I will be putting panda liner down on the entire floor, naturally.

DIY Table
I'm going to have 3 similar tables to this one in addition to the low, narrow one in the pre-flower section held up by cinder blocks. I simply got a nice piece of plywood and screwed it down to two sawhorses.

Here is a little update..

My veg. room for the most part stays at 70-73 degrees Fahrenheit with a humidity level of 40%, but on rare occasions it gets down to about 65.. I'm trying to raise the temps with a small standing heater to hopefully encourage the ladies to root quicker as well as trying to increase the humidity by keeping out dishes of water and spraying plants frequently.

Here's a look at my DIY cloner and how the clones are doing. (white bumps are appearing on the stems where roots will protrude)

The Bloom Room has been at a temperature of 73 with 35% humidity. I put 4 Girl Scouts in the pre-flower area just to see how they look..

BUGS!

So I saw what seemed to be a couple of whiteflies on the undersides of the leaves on my clones and I freaked out like a maniac. I trashed the clones and examined the rest of my plants. I found slight white fly damage on some. So I sent the healthy ones to a friends house where they will be quarantined for a short period and then go into his garden.

Time to clean EVERYTHING and bring in new ladies . I bug bombed (Pro-Control Plus) in the bloom room with my equipment in there to get exposed to the fogger as well. Then I completely washed down the veg. cab with water and then with H2O2, next up is neem oil just as a preventative measure. Everything must die.

Always sucks having to start from scratch because of the pain in the ass but in the end its going to be good for me. The set up needed cleaning and tweaking anyways. Should have new plants within a week filling the cab. Really excited for this one, folks.

p.s. I've also got a vial of Floramite I'm thinking of using to spray down everything for mite prevention but its at least a year and a half old. Any reasons why it would be a bad idea? And any other idea for white fly and pest prevention in general?

Thanks a lot! Clean is key, if you ask me. Show is starting very soon. Clones arriving in a few days and I just popped 8 beans in the meantime. Going to be a fun one.

I popped 8 beans. Looking forward to growing from seed, I've never done it before. I will pick out which phenos I like in veg and run one of each for my private smoke. Just to test these strains.

So I've got this window A/C unit and, of course, it has a giant light leak through the main vent and around the bottom edge of the unit. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this during lights off? Light trap ideas?

Dude bug ups... errr big ups.. bugs down! Good lookin setup. Gettin clones or starting from seed? If you get clones from local clubs keep close eye on em for bugssss. I am kinda seed addicted at this point. I want to keep starting different varieties. Only prob is I don't have any lights or rooms to grow em in.

It is extremely important to me that my new bloom room be completely pest free. I will take as many preventative measures as I need to make it happen.
I've got a pair of slippers designated for gardening so everything in there stays as sterile as possible. I went to the hardware store but forgot to grab some Guerrilla Tape so I've got to do that soon to patch up the seams in the panda liner.
