Hippie420 not only recruited ppl from icmag, oh no. Just about all the other canna sites got hit by spam for TSD thanks to him. That's how they grew so fast.
There should be a special word for that kind of Internet slime, who only registers on a website to lure ppl to another website (or run damage control for TSD).
Somehow "spammer" just doesn't do him justice.
And no, Morcheeba, Hippie420 isn't welcome here (although I'm sure he is lurking here if not in hiding).

I have told everyone that I would not guarantee any beans bought at SD.
I did until they closed but when I get screwed and find out people don't know if what they got were fakes anyone could make false claims.
However there are probably some people who through no fault of their own also got screwed by JB. Perhaps something can be done for loyal customers returning to the Boo and the Bay.
I hope Clarence can work with us to provide some extra compensation for our customers. You must realize that with the site gone it is hard to verify purchases made.
Of course I listen to my friends so pm me if you have questions or complaints about seeds purchased there. Most of the seeds sold there weren't fakes but when the last Sour Bubble were re listed recently he was out of them.
Normally I replace seeds for unsatisfied customers and normally I have been paid for the seeds I replace. I can't send replacements individually to all parts of the world based on claims made due to JB's crimes.

Let's give all the banned members amnesty and then see what we can do to make this right.

I have a great internet security application that I paid dearly for along with Support for years. every time I go to RIU it stops me and says it detected Zenbox Trojan, My protection doesn't fuck around and it has detected it for a while now, I just avoid that place like the plaque and guessing the site will vanish soon.

What I find ironic, is that "Fake seeds" is one of the accusations regularly levelled against Gypsy, and yet now people want to come back and hope bou/bay will make them whole....

one thing i dont get is anyone claiming they didnt know what kind of guy JB is. i mean just look at how he started his business. stole the idea, stole the customers and many vendors from IC after being trusted to run SB & SB.
without 1 word from anyone, i knew he was a piece of shit, just for the way he stole his company together. he used all his time at the bay and bou to privateer company contacts and customers. so really, by the time i got the info about what exactly he did, it was no surprise to me. it was very clear from the beginning by the time line alone. the moment he started tsd it was clear, no words needed. basically someone who will do that, will also rip you off when the going gets tough.
people with no moral compass will end up ripping you off 9 times out of 10. he showed his morals from the get go. i'm sure he had beautiful words to justify it to his new vendors and customers. im sure he was full of terms like free speech and how greedy every one else was and how he was the only honest guy in town and felt forced to take this step to protect the community, etc etc. but in the end it was a betrayal of trust and the rest is just words. he shook GN's hand and looked him in the eye, made a deal. then proceeded to break that deal and steal everything he could as he walked out the door.

Having (rather apparently) Come to ICmag just after all the drama that led to the creating of tsd, I came to IC in Mid-late 2011...

The forum was built around information and seed sharing without censorship (and with a scamming fuck at the helm). The forum image didnt reflect the image of the ownership at all. Ive never met more kind and generous people online before in my life than at TSD.

Beg to differ there Cannivore. Many "swinging dicks" were sent packing from icmag and they ended up there at TSD. Sorry for that, but I wasn't the one who told them where to go.
I find it pretty amazing, that after all has been said here, there are many who still believe JB was honest to the last letter he sent out.

It was nice of him to take 0% responsibility for his situation and blame it all on Gypsy who hadn't seen him in long, long time.

thanks skip for telling me what all the forgiveness was about .I am still banging my head and wondering why the wreck happened with out me even seeing it coming.i hope gypsy is out of jail soon and back with his family ,I know JB was not the first thief involved here and hopefully he will be the last since the crew here finally has the power to run things without a proxy vote from a absent owner

Some responsibility is on the Captain of the ship to ensure his crew is on the up and up.
That being said, another circumstance could have compromised all the seed buyers sellers, and makers here.
IF someone is going to walk a thin line in a gray area he should vet his employees or his crew better.
I am not defending anyone but I am pointing out the fact you can't just take anyone by there word, some research and interviews with previous employers should have taken place.
We can all rest assured that this JB guy has pretty much burnt his bridges, why not just out this guys info so we all know him to see him in the future.
I certainly like to be told who to avoid, it's nice to hear a story about who was fucked when but it does me know good here and now not knowing who to avoid.
