Annnddd... the iggles beat the spread.
Double sweet, if you jumped on it when the line moved after romo's surgery.

There's a growing body of evidence that Jerry Jones is heading toward Al Davis territory. And I hate the way he answers questions, all equivocal, never trying to offend anyone. The dude makes money like most men breathe but realistically he's been mediocre as a gm the last decade plus.
He's also had a lot of bad luck, so its possible if he gets lucky the boys can be contenders again. He's stuck with Romo, a star-crossed qb if ever there was one, and has stuck by Romo through thick and thin. Maybe a bad decision, but if you consider the rogues gallery of qbs they had after Aikman, a defensible one. But if you trust Garrett to be an offensive genius, then he should be able to get better qb play out of romo and/or groom a replacement.
A better coach wouldnt hurt. Garretts game management skills are puzzling considering he's ivy league educated. guess he didnt major in math.
jj drafts ok, has hits and misses like everyone, but he tends to reward players too richly after one good year. Lots of money spent on stars mean less money for the other starters and backups; when your role players are making plays, youll win a lot of games.
If jj were smart he'd offer 8mil/year to Jim Harbaugh and cede most of the roster decisions to someone else, maybe harbaugh too.

Whoa. Eagles barely squeaked that one out, lol.

9ers....what can I say? Their offense isn't hittin the mark and the defense got burned on some pass plays. STILL getting penalized for delay of game? At this stage of the season? I don't know, man...that ain't good. Greenbay is going to be a tough game. If Ariz can get their guys open for those deep passes, what do you think Rodgers is gonna do?

I agree about the bad calls this year. You'd think the replay cameras would help, but I don't know if they are.

Football seems to be going into transition again.

When Orton pulled a Romo late in the 4th they had a camera on Jerry Jones in the owners booth, he was already standing and had his back to the field, with fists clenched Jone's screamed "FUCK!!!," you could read his body language as the word exited his face.

Evidently there's some truth in the saying:
'Money can't buy you happiness'

Damn I wish I would have seen that. Not much love from me to the 'boys. I would fire Jason Garrett. I've watched enough to come to that conclusion.

On a side-note I saw Mike Rozier on the Family Feud yesterday. He said he is retired and just plays charity golf events now. And, no, I did not watch the fucking Family Feud show. I was flipping through channels while watching General Hospital.

Looks like Garrett is going to keep his job, maybe the coordinators will get fired. Kiffin should be, at least.

Niners have owned the Packers lately, but it's going to be a tough one in Lambeau this weekend, lot of snow and cold.
I think the Niners will still pull it out, if only because i want to see a SEA-SF NFC championship game, which would be epic.

Think now that the playoffs have started ill start laying some bets down again. Dont know if ill be any better though lol. Hey s4L, wheres this week's lines?

LETS GO EAGLES!!!! Need to handle those pansy ass dome babies, just got to hit brees(we didn't hit orton once) and try to slow grahm down. FLY EAGLES FLY!!!!

I like most of the favorites to cover this week,

the indy-kc match-up is the scariest imho. kc had a great start going 9-0 but but finished the season 2-5...charles can go off but take him out of the equation and i believe luck will win a 4th quarter shootout(and if you guys remember I really am a fan of alex) colts have been going off @ home and hilton plays like a #1wr @ home. I'd probably still take the colts with a -7 spread...they torched kc a couple weeks back and have beaten ALL of the best teams in the league this season!

Saints can do it on the road although their record suggests otherwise. besides the loss to seattle in seattle their road losses were close games. philly's D is nothing special and teams that play them tend to have the ball something like 40 minutes...if Brees gets the ball for 40 minutes there's little doubt in my mind that he can pull off a W. Saints D is pretty good but I still see this one being a high scoring shootout. 34-37 Saints on the $line. I'll take sean peyton's football brain over chip kelly's.

Sometimes you just have to pick em, and although vegas is calling SD the better team by .5pts(3pts on the spread are given to home team for HFA) I like Cinci to cover, tougher D, solid players on offense...this one comes down to if Big Red plays like he has been playing @ home over the last 5-6weeks... Cinci to cover, and I like the over.

packers vs 49ers. history will repeat itself, Niners cover...a better, deeper, hungrier team with All of the offensive weapons in good shape, and a top of the line D that is even better in the playoffs... Pack's D is a bad unit thats even worse without matthews. I agree with the total(48) set and wouldn't touch it either way.

Chiefs~Colts has turned into a real game, looked like a lost cause when the pony's were down by 28 points, now just 3.

BAM!!! and now the Colts lead by 1.......

How does a team lose so many quality starters in one game? What are the odds? Some math football geek can figure that out; please do.

It's just a shame.
