Annnddd... the iggles beat the spread.
Double sweet, if you jumped on it when the line moved after romo's surgery.
There's a growing body of evidence that Jerry Jones is heading toward Al Davis territory. And I hate the way he answers questions, all equivocal, never trying to offend anyone. The dude makes money like most men breathe but realistically he's been mediocre as a gm the last decade plus.
He's also had a lot of bad luck, so its possible if he gets lucky the boys can be contenders again. He's stuck with Romo, a star-crossed qb if ever there was one, and has stuck by Romo through thick and thin. Maybe a bad decision, but if you consider the rogues gallery of qbs they had after Aikman, a defensible one. But if you trust Garrett to be an offensive genius, then he should be able to get better qb play out of romo and/or groom a replacement.
A better coach wouldnt hurt. Garretts game management skills are puzzling considering he's ivy league educated. guess he didnt major in math.
jj drafts ok, has hits and misses like everyone, but he tends to reward players too richly after one good year. Lots of money spent on stars mean less money for the other starters and backups; when your role players are making plays, youll win a lot of games.
If jj were smart he'd offer 8mil/year to Jim Harbaugh and cede most of the roster decisions to someone else, maybe harbaugh too.
