Hi kiwigreen420!

There's lot of info and malawi pics here in the ace seeds room, she is very vigorous and easy to grow outdoors in warm climates, very hardy plant. Wish we can see some nice flowers at the end of the season.

Yeah I've been drooling on this strain for months, You're a legend for making a 11-14 week malawi, my seedlings are growing very vigorously already.

How good is the mold resistance?(I get 1100mm a year)
Will upload some flower pics for sure.(will not visit often as il be doing a guerilla grow).

Hi Kiwi I have an Ace Malawi under 400w ceramic metal halide in second week of flower. I started 11/13 after 2 weeks vedge, tipped it once, and tied down the resulting 5 main branches she has just started to show pistels and future bud sites. I have a 1m by 1m grow room and its looking like she will fill it up. I have just added 600w hps to fill out the buds. I have never seen a sativa under lights so dense and with such short nodes she is a real beauty. I will post a picture when I get the chance. Ace have done a masterful job on this.

Will be interested to see if it finishes outdoors in NZ... Are you in the Far North?

Hey TW, Sounds like a mean set up man. You'll definitely pull quite a few zips being ace malawi. Start a grow diary bro.

JKD(jeet kune do?) I'm in Tauranga http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tauranga so i'm in a good growing place and probably one of the best growing places in NZ. Check the climate graph man. I think it will.

here is the main one with the smaller one next to it.

Transplanted into rockwool. She's loving it.
Both of them have the classic blue tint in the leaves proving its malawi lineage.

Threw them outside today, very nice sunny day with perfect temperatures for veg.

Looks like the seedlings are enjoying the outdoors, let me know if you have any doubt during its developing. All the best!

They are very vigorous mate! :tiphat:

Have put them into the ground with earth juice catalyst and rain crystals for the moment.

Most authentic Malawi I've seen. Here's some clones I put out today

CBG's Panama and Taskenti to go out soon too.

I'm pretty sure I'm the first Kiwi to grow ace's Malawi outdoor.

Looking good Mate!
I thought I would join you over here on IC so I could do some more reading about the Malawi before I start my indoor grow. It will be a little longer before I can start so I have time to continue watching yours grow. I love seeing the outdoor pics. They look fantastic outside with the other stuff growing around them.

Thanks mate, there's some good info on the malawi in the Ace forums - she will be a real treat for you and will be easy to grow even the thinnest of phenos.

5 or more weeks of veg left, does anyone know how tall they will get?
they're about 3.5 ft tall.

Hi Kiwi my Malawi's in NW Australia get to 4m+ through summer, I have now started veging them indoors under 18/6 then planting them out beginning of April they finish end of July (our winter) about 1.5 to 2m tall. Better for stealth. If you grow the whole summer the skies the limit.

you must have a different version of malawi?, Holy smokes version could grow 15ft plus over here in a full season. Ace's version is more vigorous because it's a hybrid of other malawis in the breeding.

My panamas outdoors are taller growing plants than the malawis, Aces version like to grow outward more.

Here are some panamas 1 month into veg

4m!!

That would be impressive to see in person. A dozen of those would be like watching a bamboo grove grow. That is amazing growth.

CK, you had mentioned the really thin leafed Malawi was the one to look for. How thin is thin? Your mother is looking good, how thin is she?
