the newer hortilux bulbs are landfill safe so you can just chuck em or take them to the dump or like my town has a recycling collection point and theres a container for florescent bulbs and electronics and batteries and the like,it also has an hid bulb symbol so they take even the mercury laden ones...


alrighty...got the girls all fed in flower,bunch of stuff about to come out,i think this glue plant will be a nice one,the 20 gallon plant...
bike is all packed up,put a set of panniers on the back,got a spare tire and 2 inner tubes,i normally dont carry a tire and only one spare inner tube,the usual tool kit and survival gear,my ground pad and camp pillow for a nice nap,a bunch of granola bars and energy gels and other squirrel food,gonna make some sesame and curry chicken sandwiches to take along since the trunk bag is also a cooler....so at least one beer as well,a quart of fruit smoothy,3 liters of water and 1 liter of gatoraide plus another water bottle frozen to keep the beer and sammiches cold,need to pick up one of those starbucks espresso shots for the trip back over the pass...a change of socks and shirt,a couple spare bandanas,4 big fat joints,a pair of tevas,a book,a camera and the mp3 player....lets see,did i forget anything?

over 200 a cord here for hard wood or junipter ceder . made a living cutting and selling mesquite at 125 a cord in the late 70's.

still waking up here,getting coffee to a high enough level to get me out the door...just not a morning person in spite of getting up fairly early every day...
once i get on the bike and get the first small climb out of the way im sure i will warm to my task...the first few miles of any ride sort of suck as all the kinks work themselves out and the muscles get warmed up...should be a good ride....

Hey 3rd , question . do those top hats leak at all coming out of the pvc ??? never tried the pvc or tophats & it might make a better set up for me than just the 1/2" hosing .but i was thinking about strapping the pvc down on the lip of the trays & if they leak at all ..... it won't work on the lip .

No leak whatsoever dans. As long as you use the right size drill bit listed in pico's thread, i forget at the moment.

I just did up the veg room as you know with 1/2" vinyl and one thing I like about that is that I can pull out a 1/4 connector and replace it with a goof plug allowing me to adjust the number of drip lines depending on how many plants I need to feed at any given moment.

The pvc manifolds are nice though when you're going to have a fixed number all the time.

i put loops in the 1/4" lines if i'm not using them .... so thats not really a concern .plus i'm basicly sticking to 4 plants per tray like you , now that things are getting back to normal .
the first couple runs were just whatever i had laying around & the seedlings , but now that they're getting done I can go back to 4 per tray/light . it'll be nice to get my veg room back too ! using it for a flower room for a 15 plant seedling run . but that'll be done in a month .

I'm not sure what you mean by clip on T's , but if your refering to pvc fittings , this is the link 3rd gave me for those hard to find fittings . maybe they'll have what ya need .
