lets just pray swerve never gets ahold of the glue and ruin it....or bcbud depot, they would also probably steal pics from the site!

after much fiddling i seem to have gotten the rear derailleur shifting properly again on the camber, gonna take that out for a loop through the mountains now that i have the suspension a bit more figured out, time to go rip it up! lol, like im ripping it up in any way! this will be mainly on 4wd roads so i should be able to go fast at least...and there will be a long bomber downhill to spice things up....should be at least a 2 joint ride...

speaking of rides....gonna do the local mountain pass on new years day, gonna do it twice since im just going to come home the same day...figure i will pack a ground pad and a nice lunch and a bunch of fatties,do the ride over to a park on the other side, stop and eat and grab a nap,and turn around and crank the pass out again....should be pretty noodle legged when i get done...5600 total feet of climbing....i expect it will be both awesome and awful at the same time...

Awesome and awful sounds about right. Should get those endorphins pumpin though.

Do you know that Swerve currently is using a picture he stole from an ICMAG member?
If you go to a seedbank, and look at his Chem 91 pic, that is Cobcoop's plant and pic.
I personally dont see how anybody can trust that his genetics even are what he says. I mean, if he'll lie about a picture that he can easily be called out on, its not a stretch to think he would lie about his genetics.
Just saying...

On a completely different note, i was picking some things up at the grow store today and i got some free samples. Roots Organics Extreme Serene (which i already use, so score!), Rapidstart, Floralicous Plus, and Armor Si.
I dont know anything about the Floralicous Plus, but ill use the rest.
Can anybody tell me if I can/should use some Armor Si tonight??
Its Day 43, and 49 of flower. Tonight is the last feeding for the 49 dayers.. The Armor Si is (0-0-4) and is basically Potassium Silicate (also has 10% Silicon Dioxide).
Probably a dumb question, but ive never used any bottled Si products before.
:tiphat:

Those plants are stunning btw uncleF.:artist:

You going to crank all the way up to the park too?
of course,it would hardly be much of a challenge to just ride over, its only like 22 miles to the campground...its that last bit when you hit the loop road that will suck,it gets steep back there...been there maybe hundreds of times in cars, never been there on a bike,i do want to camp out there but it gets wicked fricken cold up there at night...after the second crossing of the pass its all downhill basically till home, theres a couple of convenience stores along the way so i can stop and have a cold drink and finish out the ride...should be an all day trip...

pappy, start with the armor si in veg then,no need to use it in late flower..

pappy, this is the elevation profile of the ride, this is to the campground i will be stopping at but it sits pretty much at the top of the last section anyway,so i think the round trip is only 42 miles rather than 44....

see? not that hard...most of the climbing is on shallow grades so really only 8-10 miles of "real" climbing:biggrin:

I dunno unc, it looks prettttty steep for a good 5 miles. Plus the end. So yeah, 8-10 miles of real climbing:biggrin:
But you do ride a lot, so probably not as intimidating to you.

Its wierd, but that picture actually makes it look very fun. Almost like a roller coaster..

Oh yeah, and i wanted to mention to you that when i was at the grow store i noticed G.O. go boxes have gone up in price almost 50%!!!
from $35 to $50!
I know you dont buy those, but it makes me worry the big bottles are next.

Personally i always bought the GO boxes, cause it comes with everything, and the big ones last too long around here. Since i dont have that many plants.
But it looks like i can no longer justify buying the boxes now. I hope the big bottles stay $17 or whatever they are now. (Bio bud is $38 right now)

those graphs are somewhat deceptive since the roads not as steep as it might look, and the end section is classic winding mountain road so it all switchbacks, and the part over the pass i should be able to find a gear and just sit on it and grind the climb out but i dont think i will have to resort to the granny gears on the inner chainring, when im hauling a load i will have to im sure...the road is pretty roller coaster like i know since i have driven it in fast cars...ive thought about doing this for years...who knows,i may even start doing this ride on a regular basis, its a good distance for a training route, and the climbing would certainly bump my fitness level up a notch...i would be able to fly on the road bike after legging up on the surly!

i need to grab a gallon jug of bloom soon myself and i think my biobud is almost empty as well but all more than enough to last until the next crop comes down in a couple of days, after that i wont even notice what it cost....but thank god for discounts...

Hes the author, president, ceo, editor, and covergirl.

Good to see ya cappy. I thought you OD'ed on glue or something.

Question guys, I accidentally left the door open to my room last night. The lights in there go off at 6 am. It was all dark in my house untill around 7 am, when my wife got up and turned on the hall light. At around 8 am I noticed, and closed the door. So they got about an hour of indirect hall light.
The plants are like 8 days into 12/12. The hall light is an old style orangey incandescent, prolly 60 watts. The light was indirect and not that intense.
How much should I worry??

unexpected call

unexpected call

View Image I took some edibles to a party yesterday told everybody not to eat more than 2, LOL .
I also took a big pile of buds ,told everybody just help them self.
most of these people are light weight smokers . there was no cookies left & supriseingly only a few nugs left.
I got several calls this morning telling me those cookies were too strong. only from those who ate more than 2 lol

I got that unexpected call about those cookies. a friends wife called me[she is a non smoker non drinker]SHE Suffers from MS her huby talked her in to eating 1 of those cookies.
Her words, about 2 hr after eating that cookie I notice I wasent in much pain, 20 hr later im still filling very little pain. please make me another cookie for newyears.
I made her a batch 24,not quite as strong told her she could frezze them, an take out as needed .she has eaten 1 a day sence she got them.

That's awesome bug! I have a sister with MS but she has not come around yet. Still thinks it's the devils weed lol.

I hope someday to be able to see her get some relief from what I produce.

Pappy, I do that every 2-3 months or so, no big deal as long as you don't have super sensitive plants.

thats cool bug,its nice when you actually get to help someone...

a few pics from todays jaunt...

didnt really get any shots that gave a good impression of the trails, all of them were really nice and smooth, the country is open enough to be able to see ahead, not so full of the super jingus desert plants...the last trail i did on xmas was way more rocky and much more technical riding and many of the sections were "do not fall over" territory since there were huge clumps of cactus or yuccas or whatever type of reach out and ruin your day desert plants,or it was just so rocky that even a low speed fall could be bad...

this spot was totally different....so much fun....lots of wide open big berm turns and just enough twisty sections to keep it interesting...

goddam that was fun!!
