Greyskull, I have been following this thread on and off, and you are very lucky, positive vibes your way. Those pictures look excellent and tasty. I am a true appreciator of the complexities of the flavor and smoke texture/profile and I hear the true hp13 stacks up there with the best of them in that department.

I am wondering, could you describe the flavor and smoke profile in as much detail as possible? Would you say it has a haze element to the flavor?

Picked up a cut here in Denver that ill b chopping in the morning.
It's got a strange very unique funk to it that is harder than most to describe. But I too will try... Creamy, rottin, "stink bug", oranges. But not like the sweet lemon or cat pissy hazes.
Other friends hav made comments ranging from "bathroom funkeynes" to "flowery"?
Ill b working w it more and will give the smell and smoke reports alota thought for comparison.

That sounds bout right heusinomics ... I used to rock her hard back in the day 90s..Buddy made a pretty infamous cross with her called bobbyli came out almost the same as the original but was much easier to grow... Bathroom funk and potpourie were mentioned a lot... Also u know the smell when a garbage truck stops n front of ya house crunches the garbage and this disgusting juice comes out... U come out after the truck is gone but it smells like rotten shit.... Well garbage truck juice was another popular smell... I don't have the cut nemore but do got some bobbyli seeds in the stash maybe someday I get to them... Enjoy ya cut brotha I know her well and she sounds spot on legit to me from ya description

We had HP13 around here in '06. I was told by the curator of our now closed dispensary that HP13 was developed by a grower on the Big Island of Hawaii, and that it's Afghani x Thai.

One thing I notice, that seems true in all cannabis breeding, is that if you take any really ibl nice cut of an indica land race, and cross it with a real nice ibl cut of sativa land race from across the world, then you will end up with several very dank pheno types.

Also I would love to grow that HP 13 looks very very nice

I'm still trying to compare my cut to others as this was my first test run of this cut. So I stress I cannot b sure I hav the true p/hp13 cut or not. So there will b pix to follow. But I can say for sure that in 15 yrs of growing iv NEVER come across theese smells, in living plants, dried flowers, or extracts ever. So whatever it is , ill b keeping it!
I agree abt the garbage truck description. As there is a distinctly offensive note to it,(garlic/onion)?, with sweetnes coming in around the last few weeks. I wouldn't call it floral or flowery tho personally. But it was said by a visiter to the gro. There is something "strange" abt it that I'm still hoping to better describe as it dries & cures.

I have wanted this strain since I was a teenager, reading Jason King's review of it in one of the Cannabibles(#1?). I think his taste in herb is pretty good. He really talked this one up! He had pics of it grown in Maui(if I remember correctly!), It looked fucking incredible!

I have the TH seeds PG13 (HP13 x G13) hopefully its legit! I will grow them someday when I free up some grow space for more trials. I might also buy some of resin seeds Sour P (Sour Diesel x HP13) it sounds pretty good too.

almost lost this gal!

aside from being finicky, it also has some attitude, and wouldn't root for me for shit!
I went, seriously, 0/50, trying to root cuts of it.

Apparently I am not the only one to have had to do the dance with her, and lucky for me I was able to nurse the plant back into enough health to get a round of cuts to root 4/5!
The best two clones were kept, and they have been growing along now for some time.
Gonna get them a little bigger, then see how their shoots root. C'mon P!!!!
The smell of the flowers is sooooo unique...
Fingers crossed....

Grey skull iv'e got her too same issues as you guys, Whats worked for me is larger pots! I've found that growing her the size of your plants in those pics 15 gal should work for you. Never tried 10 gal though.
