I didn't read the every post to see if it had already been mentioned, but you all ever heard of the cronut? Its like a donut and a croissant f'd and had a baby. never gotten to try one but they are supposed to be fire.

Boxing day is home made krispy kreme day for me. I've got my flour and my yeast, and I already had icing sugar for the glaze. I've got several recipes to follow so I'll post the results. I've also got some Angus mince, and some best bacon, for the inevitable bacon donut cheeseburger. Still trying to decide if I'll do the full DBCB or do the Luther burger (Luther Vandross ate DBCB with burger bun on bottom, and half a donut on top, so that is called a Luther burger.).

@Harry G- that bacon donut cheeseburger sounds off the chain.My buddies mom used to make semi homemade donuts from canned bisquit dough. fried em and made a simple powdered sugar icing.
