Soil or Hydroponics?

This is what I have Read thus far from Scholarly Articles through Google Scholar search of heavy metal contamination in the soil.

It seems that the most important thing concerning heavy metal contamination, should it be a problem, is the origins of the soil, the origins of the amendments.

The closer to civilization your medium comes from the greater chances of contamination.

They found PCB in penguins in the Antarctic, hard to get away from pollution.

Granted PCB is not a heavy metal, however heavy metals tend to get into the food sources of Bats and sea birds and other living things we get our poo from..

Peace

Eureka Springs Organics

I deal with a lot of farmers/ market growers, and to me there is no comparison to properly grown organic produce.

To me I don't want to eat, smoke, or ingest anything that has knowingly been grown with chemicals.

I don't know why someone would if they don't have to?

Horrible stuff Bayer and affiliates were up to, who has said they have changed much.

Bayer, IG Farben and World War II: Slave Labour and Deadly Gas
Bayer (along with BASF and Hoechst) was an original member of the IG Farben group. During WWII, IG Farben built a synthetic rubber and oil plant complex called Monowitz close to the Auschwitz concentration camp. Inmates worked as slave labour for IG Farben,[216] and when they were too weak to work they were killed in the gas chambers. IG Farben subsidiary Degesch manufactured Zyklon B, the gas used in the concentration camp gas chambers.[217]

Bayer head Carl Duisberg personally propagated the concept of forced labour during WW1.[218] The company placed itself under a large burden of guilt due to its heavy involvement in the planning, preparation and implementation of both world wars. The International War Crimes Tribunal pronounced the company guilty for its share of responsibility in the war and the crimes of the Nazi dictatorship.

The H202 I get is 3% concentration, how much per gallon are you using?

Peace

hey dragon

stay away from the 3%. there are other additives in it

try you best to get food grade 35% and use it 1.6 ml/liter
or 29% food grade @ 1.75 ml/liter

OK, lets settle it this way. Medman and Frank, each of you send me a 1/8 of your top shelf and when I wake up in a week, I will have the final answer of which was better.

Needin 3 words defined please:
0rganic
Chemical
Soil

Being that words are just sounds made up by humans I always found it funny that they are suppose to "define" anything. :)

Words only have meaning if you give them meaning.

E

Eureka Springs Organics

That is a subjective question as the meaning of words are not definite. What we know, believe, and think now will not be the same thing as what we know, believe, or think in 20 years.

It is all relative. There is more grey in the world than black or white. :)

always ask if food grade
avoid peroxide sold in clear containers as UV degrades it
be careful with higher % peroxide as it will cause chemical burns if it gets on your skin or even blind you if it gets in your eyes and keep it away from children
if it contacts your skin flush with water

Most places in Canada wont sell the 35% as you have to keep track of who you sell it to like Potassium Nitrate so everyone went to 29% Peroxide. You also have to apply for a permit (its free) to sell it at 35%. I didn't apply for it when I got my Potassium Nitrate sale permit as you wont see a difference and extra paper work to fill out from customer.

BTW its legal to sell Potassium Nitrate in Canada just have to ask the customer what they are using it for and keep track of some personal info like Name/License #

Oh and if someone wearing sun glasses and looking shady and uncomfortable trying to ask about/buy Potassium Nitrate the gov asks that you report the incident to them LOL.

20% med-man brand boosters

Mono Potassium Phosphate and Potassium Chloride? LOL almost no one believes me tha MPK is the 95% ingredient in almost all bud boosters.

Some brave souls who tried it finally were convinced after doing as good or better when when using MPK vs Monster Bloom/Kool Bloom/Massive/Big Bud/fill in a name here

Oh and Potassium Chloride sold as DR K and Dense.

Did you know, some EWC tea and a bio filter will eliminate the baddies as effectively as almost anything? Pretty cheap too!
