Which lines have you had hermies with yourself? Any pics? What kind were they? couple little late flower sacks at the bottom of the tree? Full on gender swap across the colas?
I have always found it kind of unfortunate that RD describes their "Afghan #1" as coming from Afghan war bagseed from a vet's stash.
Picking a winner male out of that and calling it "Afghan #1" is really confusing.
That name is already famous for Sam's old Afghan line.
It's important because they use that male in a LOT of crosses.

It's killer. Straight up coffee & OG smells. Outa the beans I popped, I found quite a few different phenotypes. The one pictured a few posts back is my keeper... Dense, small-medium yields, frosty & purple. It's that smell tho.. Coffee & OG, so good. Pretty damn potent stuff, too.
Maybe go at in reverse? I mean, you know JJ's stuff is gonna be solid, your X's sound fire, and I know Karma's SJ line is capable of throwing out some keepers.
So maybe pop the Sat Fuel and DSD? Those two seem like the odd balls and present maybe the most potential for novelty/surprise relative to what else you got going on.
Just spit balling. Pop whatever strikes you in the moment. That's how I usually do it. Although you got me convinced my next seed pop is Sis x PK.

WAY back when rd grew for pink house denver I picked up ALL the crosses i could get my hands on from that drop.... many were afghan ibl crosses, including rectangle (now 4 corners i believe), cougar piss, a trainwreck / afghan (i believe) heartwreck haze, abusive og, faceoff og. during the grow we pulled out several plant that were hermaphroditing HARDCORE; upon harvest much of the bud was seeded... also upon harvy we found a super nanner-ed up trainwreck cross...
To be fair the faceoff, abusive, rectangle and some purple alien ogk (not RD, but grown out in same batch) turned out SUPER FIRE as all hell, even with all the seeds we had to pluck out.
once again, sorry about the no pics... if i really tried i could pullup a pic of the packs of seeds tho.... funny because this RD seed grow was one of the last one's I popped off before getting back on the icmag tip hardcore, pics and reports on mostly everything i do on here nowadays.
as for RD's "unfortunate" or "confusing" lineage on the afghan ibl.... can't say i really blame him for using it.... if i got my hands on some landrace I'd probably dust shit with it.... also u gotta remember that when this seeddrop happened NOBODY knew RD in the greater scheme of things... people knew moonshine seeds at that point, but rare dankness was not a common name as it is NOW in the cannabis community.

I've just gotta use the pollen from my ONLY male of this ras richie jamaican.... it's untested by me; but i just gotta keep that lineage going, so I'll probably dust some lil jawns with it's pollen soon.

The issue I have with the RD "Afghani #1" is not what it is or where it came from. In fact, reports of unhappy growers are common with currently available Afghani #1 seed from multiple (dutch) vendors.
I would MUCH rather run unknown F1's straight from current afghan stock through a returning Vet than what is left of Sam's old line after 30 years of commercial seedbank "improvements."
My problem is that the name is completely misleading.
Like if some grower found an amazing plant from unknown bagseed this fall and decided to sell it as "Chem #4" because it smells like chemicals and was the 4th plant out of the bag of unknown seeds. If people didn't know he was just an idiot, they might assume he was intentionally trying to misrepresent his product as being the famous Chem #4 cut.

I hear ya. I've recommended their beans to a couple friends based on reading many positive reviews. Always with disclaimer that I haven't run them myself. That's part of why I let myself get pulled into this hermie thing ;-)

The Sister smells foul. The main smells are rotten meat, BO, and a garlic-y skunk funk with pine/lemony notes on the bottom. The rotten meat BO skunk funk hits first and then comes the pine.
It's amazingly complex. By 2-3 weeks after the chop & dry she is ready to give up all the goods. Then there's that crushing head rush high. Oh man, I need some Sister in my life. She was quite rightly called the Ultimate Skunk for a spell until we found out what she really was. One of my all time favorites.
