Mainly because I dry, and cure my herb prior to trimming it. Still uncertain about the heroes ability to trim dry herb without fucking it up. Growing is more of an art form than work to me. I'm always seeking perfection .

I bought the double pair and power pack for about $700, it's a wash if you do it Bobble's way or mine.
I timed myself today. From the first branch I cut, to clean up, I have been able to do a plant in two hours tops. Based on the weight of the Tahoe, I would estimate that they are at least 6 oz plants, but I expect 8 per. 3-4 ounces per hour is pretty damn good in my book.

It's been a long few days, and I have a show down with the landlord tomorrow, but I finished the Tahoe and Wifi Alien today. I have pics, but too buzzed to post them. But the Wifi Alien is my new cash crop, as I suspected...

I gotcha. I wouldn't do a dry trim with any mechanical trimmer. Not only will they chop the buds up, they'll vibrate the trichs off the buds that they don't chop up.

I don't trim as close with the heroes as Arm. I do a rough trim so that I can get my buds hanging faster. I always have to go back over my buds and dry trim anyway. I find that the leaves snap off once they're dry vs. sticking to the scissors wet trimming. Dry trimming is only easier if you don't have leaves wrapped all the way around the buds that you have to peel off.

If you are contemplating getting the trimmers, you have to be prepared to wet trim. I have convinced more than one old head to wet trim, give it a try...
I even have my father partially on board. He borrowed one of my racks, and I told him to at least do a partial wet trim before placing his product on the racks. Long story short, he kept my racks...
Bobble has a point, in that if I had to trim all my own, I would likely do a rough pass (as I have had to in the past due to time constraints), but I don't like doing things twice, so I prefer to do the full trim at once.
I have the luxury of doing trees, so can chop each plant as they get trimmed, and still finish a room in 48 hours tops. If I couldn't trim the whole room in a 48 hour window, I would either do a two stage trim with the Heroes, or dry trim (which I fucking HATE!!)...

Google Medicine Bowl Collective. Check out their reviews of the strains in my sig (I think I am up to 5 of their menu), and you will see more than once, a comment on the quality of trim on my flowers...
As I said earlier, I have converted more than one to the ways of wet trimming...

All the trim gets a solvent bath, then used in tinctures etc... Once the labels are done, I will be canvasing the state dropping off cases of tincture. Crunching the numbers, if there is enough demand, flowers will only be trimmed for head stash... It's a tough game moving flowers at dispos in Cali. Most stores provide most of their own, which is in violation of the law...
