good for u dude that's quite an accomplishment.. I hear you on getting back up.. man I got fucked by my partner.. and it set me back so much.. out of an entire 100 plant outdoor run that was supposed to give me all the cash I needed I even had buyers lined up . everything. gone.. then my indoors he fucks me before I knew he fucked me on the outdoors.. and then after all that shit I moved and moved and now.. I am about to move again.. and all this BS. has fucked me.. I am down to some older genetics.. and the stuff ive bred.. but with how much money im NOT MAKING a lot of debt to pay off.. and man once this shit is taken care of. im buying all new genetics. but as of now.. my gfs job is cutting hours.. my job stops for winter besides the occasional snow removal.. and I picked up a 15 hour a week job working for a friend.. but man seems like every single time.. im about to make it over the hump.. something happens and it sets me back another year..
Ive been building another room all week and I thought it would be done by now but Im on my last day now. I had lots of problems with this room which made the work slow. Ive had the plants for this room in VEG-A way too long and the structure is very weak and all the roots are tangled together. Last night I was able to put half of the plants in the new room and they looked pretty weak. Today they look much stronger so we will see what happens.
OMG, i'm so pissed. I was a ballast short and went to a grow shop out here and I bought 1,0000 Watt Lumatek to match all my others. When I took it out of the box, it looked different. You could tell the knob for the dimming feature was cheap looking and the reset buttons are black instead of white. Even the whole purple metal shell is different but close. I went to one shop first and they told me HydroFarm stopped selling Lumateks. The owner was in the second store and I saw he had Lumateks so I asked him, "I thought HydroFarm stopped selling Lumateks?" And he replied, "they did stop selling them but we can still get them". He took me to his office because he knew from another employee that I was working with a lot of lights. He was trying to sell me a bunch of Gavitas and I told him, I probably will for a new op we got about to set up. I asked him questions about products and growing systems and he was completely clueless. Everything in the store was jacked up around 40%. I told the guy that I needed 1,000 feet of 1/4" black air tubing and he charges me 20 cents a foot. LOL. So back to this fucked up fake ballast that I paid $360 for. I got all my ballasts screwed into my panel, Ive been working over 12 hour days in the grow playing a juggling act between all these rooms in different stages while trying to finish this new room. I put half the plants into the new systems and flip on some lights. Mind you Im so tired by this point and need to work in a flowering room to work on the plants and then work in one of the smaller veg rooms and nute the tent. Today when I went to turn up the ballast to 750, nothing happened. No matter what it was set to it didnt change. I really have no idea what its even at which fucks with my methods on already unhealthy plants. On top of that, Snypette left days ago and wont be back till around Sunday. Who ever has followed me through the years knows that I havent had a license in well over 5 years for no reason at all. When I go to the registry, they tell me to go to another registry in another state and when I go there, they tell me to go back to the first on. This has been going on for many years for no real reason. The computer tells them what to do and when there is an error, no one knows anything. Last time I went they had to get security because I couldnt take it anymore. Caused a whole scene and everything. My life has always been drama. It seems to follow me somehow, even here. So now with no license and no car, stuck in the snow, Im a light short. Lol! I honestly just might eat this cost and just not even go back to the store because I might say something stupid. I almost bought a 5,000 sq feet grow shop because of how bad grow shops are in my states. I think I might have to put this idea back on the table. I really think I can make a decent living in a grow shop. I have some products that I wanted to manufacture as well. Lets face it, a lot of things in these grow shops are straight garbage. I see it as an easy opportunity. Of course it would take lots of cash to manufacture things. I would have to start small and work my way as money comes. Im pretty positive that my first product could generate 250k a year and Im pretty conservative with those estimates. Right now, I feel pretty passionate about this idea but that could easily change with all that I have going on right now. On top of that, I could teach classes there too and maybe do well. The location is still for sale and its on a main street with a nice lot. It will be sale for a while so I have lots of time to figure that out.

Heya Snype, Why not order from Amazon? Good prices and fast delivery. I prefer brick and mortar but if the shops are shit you gotta take your business elsewhere. Lucky for me grow shops around me are pretty competitively priced and all the employees are growing pot themselves so in general they can be pretty helpful. Of course a lot of them are youngsters and not too much experience (I guess if they were doing it well they probably wouldn't be workin at a grow shop).
Guess what else? The light meter that I bought at the same store is also broken. Lol. Im so pissed. Today is one of those day that you just go back to bed. I dont have that luxury though. Fuck these Mcdonlds Grow shops.

Yes people talk. I have read this post and all the peeps gettin betrayed by friends, associates etc. I know this story as well. I have known pot dealers and growers my whole life and the one universal truth is that if you talk.... to anyone. You will be betrayed and ripped off. Somehow it is just to damn appealing to the thieves and vermin to resist.

Good thing about Amazon is that the box is so anonymous. If the return adress on a cardboard box has no indication of the contents then you could be ordering anythign
When you enter the land, picture 50 pounds of Chemdog funk in various states. Yeah, even outside with the animals it stinks. Im not dumb enough to fuck this up. Theres a member on IC that I met up with in the past. The oil guy came and asked him if he had a pet skunk. That was my ChemDD. The oil guy called the police and the house was raided. Very tough times for him after that. This isnt a legal grow and there is lots at stake, including my life behind bars for many years.

I finally got a new room done today and filled it with RDWC plants. They vegged way too long in Veg-A and were over crowded. They are very weak. They also suffered a power outage when they were young and cold temps in the low 50s. Im hopeful that I can bring them back but ive never used plants like this in RDWC before. I put half of the plants in the systems last night and they looked so weak and floppy. I set all of the lights to 600 for now but they will go to 1000s. They are all green and healthy nutrition wise but they were really lacking light from being over crowded. The good news is that the ones from last night already look stronger today so thats pretty good. Also, even though I set one of the systems at 930 PPM (500 Scale), the levels went down in a 24 hour period which means the plants are eating. Nutes in only 1 of the systems is that high. The rest are at 700 PPM.
I dont have my Alita air pumps in the same room. All down the line of each row of buckets, I neatly run my black air tubing. As my tubing links down the line of each row, I tape each line using back electrical tape. Now that I think of it, maybe zip ties would have been better. After each row is tapped every 2 feet, they join the other rows going perpendicular and are all taped together as one big circle for every two 10 bucket systems. Then the whole thing goes neatly through the ceiling which leads to the attic where my pumps are for other rooms. The only thing that Im missing is some reflectix for the walls and the SCROG but that will come soon.

Ive never run any silica. Just GH Micro, Bloom and Kool Bloom Powder.
Buddy i highly recommend pro-tekt silica. It will make all your plants heartier and more resistant to all stress. They also will bounce back faster. Floppy stems will grow stronger and thicker. Im dead serious look around ic about it. Pro-tekt silica. Cheap and amazing. I run it in veg and first 6 weeks of flower. Best of luck bud. It raises ph so you need to accomodate for it. Super worth it.
Edit: For me, it's always ProTeKt, Ful-Power, and SM-90..
Ill test it in a side by side to see if I would need it but I try to add as little products as possible. The plants all bounced back now that their conditions are better. Stems already got strong and I SuperCropped every branch today. Maybe this will work to my favor with the weeks of added Veg time now that they bounced back. Still taking pH / ppm readings to judge health. The one key thing I have in my favor is the SCROG. So now instead of vegging to 16" bushes, I can take this crop up to 18 or 19" bushes and tie down the main tops to the wire screen.
Yes you can, scrog is the way. Ill tell you this now, if you try out the silica on anything youll notice a difference. Its amazing. Its not harmful in any way either. I try to simplify my recipie as much as i can as well. Id never go without silica. Im actually amazed you dont already run it. Its not one of those try this booster and maybe it will help you things.....it makes plants that otherwise werent worth growing, worth growing for me in the past. Healthier plants overall or ill buy ya dinner

totally agree with crooked8 about the silica,loads less stress in the plants and i am sure it makes the plants a bit sturdier too.ww
