well the new sealed bloom room cranked up now so I went into the vault looking to bust out some CGS goodies.

i had 5 sssdh from 2 yrs ago but they didn't pop
but the Strawberry Dogshit were highly active.
8:10 made it..... good stock for sure

the new room is nice-n-brite w/6000w sealed w/Co2.
they are a rocking!......getting super growth!


here's how big they were on the 4th in 16oz cups,

into gallon bags on the 7th

they have a nice chem smell going on with a lite stem rub
and 6 days later...

Ive had a the best secret recipe keeper for 2yrs now.
it has been extra good to me,
last july i started more from seed and a sneaky SR rooster got into the hen house and knocked up my monster rez KQK.
It'll be exciting to see what the offspring from this super duo resin monsters produce!

Looks great bro. Is that the bertha SR you were talking about in the other thread? Can you tell me some characteristics of the bertha? I just popped a pack of SR and got 8/11 males so I was hoping to find a bertha male.

my keeper bertha SR was a beast.
my 1st 2 FMs i got were on the same level potency wise,
one was much smaller and the buds were spare going up the stem,
the bertha was totally different.
every SR has kicked hard in the potency dept.
the only differences Ive seen is they've either been small or large pheno's and some with more or less leaf.
I have heard of one or two that had a pack that had no kick or smell??
maybe Ive been lucky?
I bought the 1st pack and got both L+Small pheno's and got my bertha pheno.
since the SR father was lost or misplaced i went ahead and bought 3 more paks ASAP to ensure i had access to this lines for awhile
from thoe 3 paks popped 2-3 and got the leafier bertha and 2 sires.



this is my original bertha pheno
it isn't the best representation of her
but you can see the weight of what the SR diesel#1 x abusive kush X chem bx2 buds can do.

i popped more seeds and got another bertha but it was leafier but the like my keeper her buds were dense, fat and long running

SR bertha's can produce arms length dense fat cola's.
my buddy da headies let his go with a 3 month veg and was pulling in 370+gram monsters
with a 6wk veg i regularly got 160+grams

never understood why this CGS strain never got more attention...
this strain is highly under rated resins factories

Oh my. What a beautiful plant. Thanks for the pics. Ive been wanting to run a pack of og chem but it got put on the back burner when I saw the results people were getting from this strain. This is going to be a killer grow. Thanks for posting.

hey hydropimp,

they're in 1:1 FFOF and promix BX w/mycorrhizae
with a 30% perlite cut.
I love the feel of this blend, very spongey, press down on it but it doesn't pack down.
it would make a great matress
the roots tore though the gal bags from the 16oz cups in 2-1/2 days.
I'm giving them FF grow big
with humboldt roots & myco madness

Ive run GdoggyP before and you can't go wrong with it,
this is my 1st run with straw dog,
what I'm seeing they are heavy chem leaners,
I'm also running msoca's ot x chem4 and they are near identical the SDs.

SR hasn't disapponited me yet
in my CGS vault I have
secret recipe-sssdh, ogchem GdoggyP strawdog chemmy jones & cheesedog.
after looking at other SD grows i went with em....what I see so far it was a good pick imho
for being 1-1/2-2yr old beans nearly all popped above ground in 5-7days
very vigorous.
too bag about the 5 sssdh1
barely made it above ground but lost it.
when i 1st got em the germ rates were 90% plus but lost all to broad mites.
all were kept in the fridge in the same container...
just goes to show its always a crap shoot with seeds.

here's a pic of my KQK
out of a 10pck only 2 made it, both ladies.
she was a bit on the leafy side and trimming was her only downside, hope the SR works its magic in that dept

T5s are the best bulbs for propagation imo
i get the tightest stacking using them.
my 1st was a used 6bulber.
i get it down a couple 2-3" inches from the bulbs and keep a fan
on them, and they thrive!
when i saw how fantastic the plants grew under T5s i ordered another... an 8bulber this time,
then another... and another lol.

Ive had plants in veg ready for the 1000w MHs but sometimes delays crop up and kept em under the T5s.
if necessary they work good up to about 24 inches but realistically i like to keep no longer than 12".... if i have to.

the last strawdog was sexed out this morning,
9 for 9 and the fems take the entire cake
last time, only time this ever happened was with with 7 prophets that all turned male

I have hi hopes for my 1st try at pollen chuckin

they're getting topped and i get my cuts this weekend,
up-potted into bigger bags.
another 10-14 days and they flip into 12/12

ok, things are starting to heat up in the new bloom room.
my 1st run w/co2 and the only regret is i didn't add it years ago

this is a multi strain run,
of the 2 top contenders in the room, the strawdogs are in the running.
I am really impressed with what I'm seeing and know I'll have to decide on which keepers stay.
the resin is gushing out of these ladies for 3-1/2wks,

the strawberry dogshit plants are getting more and more impressive everyday, @ 28 days the resin is oozing greasy sweet-n-sticky,
they're very aromatic with definite hashy sweet piney berry aroma's

the secret recipe cross is currently lagging in the resin dept.
this is an inherited trait on the KQK mothers side,
traditionally she starts to ramp the resin up after 4wks and goes into overdrive.
with my KQK i didn't start seeing resin in good amounts until 32-35 days but by the time 60 days rolled by ,
lost time was MORE than made up for

CGS's secret recipe sire in this cross is a power trio in itsself
with diesel#1/abusive og kush mated to a stout chem BX2 sire.

the nugz on this beast already have me breaking out the the bamboo stakes and string

I kept a male strawdog, and made some f2's and a couple other x's. can't wait to see how they turn out. I'm hoping to find a straight og/chem pheno that is chem leaning. Fingers crossed!!

my strawdogs are in the top running2-3 from seed in my gro also frankie and the were in veg too

i thought i had 7 for 7 FMs but one fooled my ass and just about wreaked havoc lol
at least i have a male to make a few F2s now.
this is a really a vigorous strain and has good potential from what I'm seeing @4wks.

they've been pumping out the resin since day 18,
can't imagine what another 30 will do.

along with resin they've been stinking big time with very sweet berry hashy aromas.
in the last few days when i walk in the room I'm getting this faint dog/catshit smell that got me to looking at the bottoms of my shoes going in hehe
I have a few dogs that occasionally visit.

I don't much care for the name but it definitely nails the smell

took testers @30days
5 of 8 already are in keeper status in potency and taste...
they could be harvested today and sell like pancakes
bag appeal on the vine is off the hook with resin and trichs some are turning white with resin.
I think ojd should've called one whiteberry dogshit
