How do you know there aren't any accident caused by weed? No one does any drugs testing at the doctor/emergency rooms so there are no statistics. Obviously you'd be stupid to say you were stoned on a job site when you cut your finger off with a skill saw.

I personally kno two people that hurt themselves on job sites while being high. They didn't admit it at first but then eventually it came out. One went on disability and one is missing part of his finger and feeling pretty stupid every time he looks at it.

How can grandfathering hold up to a charter challenge for new applicants?

Personally, the best I can see happening is that the current system would be allowed to run alongside the new system for a year or so, while the government commissions decide on what to do.

Unfortunately all we can do is speculate but from what I've been told good chance of ppl's being extended (dg's most likely done) with a smaller daily limit and a cap on plant limit. Only reason it might be extended is PPS said they won't have enough stock to supply the 40K users along with the other new CP's

Now the shit storm will be if they do extend it those poor saps that spent $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to become CP will better make sure they budgeted properly to cover the cost of operations for a while with no chance of customers.

OMFG some guy with deep pockets spends 500$ to set up a numbered company and pays a lawyers to send in the HC paper work using the 40K licenses as some magic number in their business plan. Come April first that 40K number goes back to the 2007 and earlier 3K licensees Canada wide or the extend the licenses and the 40K becomes nothing since everyone will keep growing.

Here's some news for you, not everyone wants to smoke/eat dope and be high all day to relieve some pain.
