Sup Guys. Was hoping to get some input! I have done cab and closet grows, but it's time to finally take the plunge and use an entire room.

So, my question is - if money were no object, what would your ideal grow setup be like in these circumstances?

The room is 11 feet 6 inches long by 9 feet 4 inches wide, and about 8 feet tall. There is also closet space (no door) which measures 2.25 feet deep by 5 feet wide. There is an access panel in the closet to the crawl space attic, where there are roof vents, so I was planning on running ducting up through there to the roof vents via a fan and carbon filter.

The electrical panel is located in the room, which I will be upgrading.

Given my budget is very high, how many watts do you think I cram in there with the proper split AC unit to accommodate? I was thinking at least 6 1000watt Gavitas (which are upgradable to 1150 watts each).

I want to run a perpetual harvest SCROG in soil, open system with passive intake. I think for the first couple runs I will do hand watering until I can figure out how to install a drip system in which each plant at different stages of life in the harvest can get their proper feeding ratios (not sure how the hell you would figure this out without having separate res's for each couple plants).

The room has hardwood floors. I was going to use pond liner at a minimum, but very interested in input as to how I can not ruin the floors.

This will be a LEGAL, MEDICAL grow. I want to do the perpetual harvest so I will only be harvesting a plant or 2 at a time without ever having to go over my limits when it's processed. At the moment I only want to have 12 plants flowering at a time, so I plan on employing LST as well in order to maximize space and grow some real big monsters.

Any thoughts, comments, criticism is welcome!

Peace, love, and respect.

Ahhh! My copy and paste apparently failed. Thread title is supposed to be "If Money Was No Object... 11'.6"x9'.4" Flower Room"

Im thinking you can fit 4. Its gonna be tight too. I would run 2 lights over 4x8 flood and drain trays. Rockwool is super forgiving and easy to use and dispose of. I love it. 2 trays with 4 lights. Youll need resivoirs as well 70 gals minimum if you do flood and drain. 12 in fans in and out with dimmer switches. Can filter for the exhaust. You need at least a 12000 btu ac as well. One 16 inch oscillating fan per light at least is good. Not sure if you want to air cool your lights, i wouldnt.

Youre gonna need lots of veg time. 3 plants per light, youll need to veg AT LEAST 5-6 weeks. More like 8 imo.

Thanks for the reply crooked8!

RE the lights - you wouldn't try and put in more than 4 in that size of a space? Even with enough AC? Is the light just essentially wasted, or what's the reasoning?

And not sure if I mentioned it, but I want to grow in soil.

Also don't wanna air cool the lights. Not a big fan of losing lumens because of the glass shields, and doesn't seem necessary if you have proper AC right? Not to mention doing all the ducting and stuff is just one more headache...

Yeah I'm still trying to work out the logistics of what the best way to run the perpetual harvest is. Eventually the goal is to be able to harvest 1 plant a week, and yeild 1lb/plant at least. I know this isn't a realistic goal for this space, but I'd like to get the hang of doing the perpetual harvest and dial it in. As for veg times, I'm not really too concerned I have to veg em. I wanna grow freakin monsters with the SCROG, and have less plants.
