I would have liked to see what those girls would have done if you filled the screens more before you put them into flower, would have been intense. I like your design. I am growing with three 27 gallon tubs just like yours in a 5X9 area, but I am one of those scammed light hood users, lol

Don't worry my friend. I still have 5 more plants to add to this setup and the next batch will fill those screens for sure.

Dude I am envious. I have shit luck. Appears I have root aphids. I have caught the problem early but I dont know if I should even start battling them or just kill it all and start all over. I have some seeds. Any advice?

Dang man, I never had to deal with root aphids, I hope you post in the sick plants section to get some solid help. What is your plan of action? I know they are not easy pest to combat.

I flushed both veg and bloom for the first time. I think I want to flush more often, I waited way way to long the first time. The plants in veg have grown almost 1/2" over night since the flush. I can understand why I began to think my plants were growing slow, they need new juice. Things seem like they are fired back up!

Plants in veg are almost ready for bloom, gonna give them the weekend to grow some more. They are looking strong and healthy

I think I am going to kill it all and start from seed. Been babying these plants since I got the cuts. Only 2 are actually starting to do well. I have had her 1.5 months and she looks around half the size of your plants in veg.

Timely reply as I already need help :) I posted pics.

The Platinum Kush and the Vortex both look really sad. Seems like overwatering based on the information on this forum. Also Nitrogen deficient. The Blackberry Kush is rockin but seems like it is also starting to show some Nitrogen deficient.

I got the cuttings from a local club 8 days ago. They were in rockwool cubes that were then placed in soil. So I washed the soil off and put them in 5" net pots with clean hydroton. Then put in E&F system. The VX and the PC were both pretty small and root develpment not that far along so I am thnking the rockwool block staying saturated is enough to overwater what do you think? As for the rest of the problems I am not sure. I have maintained the PH religiously the past week never exceed 6.2 but mostly has been 6 or higher. Also I was keeping the PPM low as they are not established plants. Using GH florabloom and floramicro at approx .5tsp/gal PPM has been in the 350 range on the 500 scale and my tap starts at about 150 ppm. I ran the E&F every 6 hours for the first 3 days then down to every 4 hours since. I unplugged the PC and VX from watering last night. Temps have been between 60-75. Water temps never over 70. Last night I also added 12Ml. floramicro to boost Nitrogen.

Whadya say guys?

From the look of your plants, you either have root problem, cold water temps or your pH probe is broken. It is most likely due to cold water temps. Happens to me with plants that size with water under 65F. Below 60F, my plants wilt to the stem until i get the temps up. When you have problems, always raise the lights and lighten the feed until plants are fixed.

Yikes, my temps are around 60-63 degrees F. No wilting yet, I hope it doesnt happen

My ChemDD must be more sensitive but growth was slow for me in the low 60s but when my rez temps hit mid 50s, i thought my plants were dead when I saw them. Took my a few days to bring the leaves back. That was in my E&F systems but I remember a few years back when I changed out a RDWC system with cold winter tap and my plants all died.

my root aphids

You guys rock. Loving advice. Decdecided to take on the roIt aphids. I will be putting a detailed posting regarding my battle. It does not seen there is very much available that has very good data regarding this Pest. I will include pictures and all the data I collect. I intend to use a three pronged attack first is a homemade variation of SNS 203 using clove oil, rosemary oil, soap and water. Second neem oil emulsified with soap as foliar spray and root dunk. Third hot water dunk which preliminary testing has shown positive results. I'll get it together pretty soon to post.

You sound all scientific bro! My buddy told me a flame thrower works well. I have yet to test that advice.

Sounds good, keep it up for at least a few weeks to get at their life cycle.

Finally got the other 5 plants pods built and loaded into the bloom room. I still have to build the cages for those five pods. Once I get them built I will post some pictures. Shit is looking good so far though.
