Day 50 week 8

Day 50 week 8

Getting fatter and lots of resin. I may feed all of this week, strickly water next week and then cut her down. So looking at about day 65 for harvesting and that would be on par with her mother. Wanted to add that I've flushed her twice in flower, after week four and in the milddle of the week last week and then let her dry up for a day. I normally feed a couple of ozs. of nutrient solution when i feed. I flushed with 64 ozs. of half strength solution. I am feeding with the same nutrient schedule I've used the last two weeks. 12ml per gallon of Dyna Gro Bloom, 4ml Pro Tekt, 2ml Mag Pro and I alternate with the Mag Pro, feeding with it one week and then not using it the next. Feed usually twice a day. Oh and she is really stinking up the joint; skunky funky.

I'll play again! I"m fine with a change of container, beer cup, 16/20oz soda bottle, 1L, shot glass ... whatever.

I'm really geared to clones, having a couple SOGs running, so that's my preference (or at least being an option), but if seed only is the will of the group I'd probably still play.

Thanks WC. When you grow weed you need to be patient and if you don't have much patience you'll either learn it by growing or you'll give up the hobby because you just can't be patient. I know mine has been sorely tested by growing. So many times you just wish things would hurry along but the plants will have none of that. There have been countless times where I wanted to harvest but I check the trichs and they just aren't ready. I look at them and think that they will be ready in a couple of days, I check in a couple of days, still not ready. They are on nobody's timeframe, they finish when they are good and ready.
Like I said here that it should be ready around day 65. Honestly though it could be anywhere from 58 to 75 days. They finish when they feel like it.

Is that strain mostly sativa AM? Some of those leaves look thin like a sativa.

ya, the plant on the right is buddah's sister, has VERY sativa structure leaves and growth....
the plant on the left is my flo x grimm cross, sativa leaning for sure.

I've a little Buddha in my cross but it's the Reclining Buddha(mother) in the Delta 9 CannaSutra. The Cannasutra is the father of my cross.

Here's a comparison of the two yogi demos cuts of the same mum:

The pic series on the left is the cut from the first demo.

thanks glory for that comparison, am i understanding correctly that the left set of pics is last round of yogi cup challenge and left is this round?

PLEASE
everyone who has participated to similarly to glory, compile a post with pictures portraying your yogurt cup plant along it's journey to harvest... 3 pics is fine, feel free to share more. Only do this when you have harvested your yogi... also let's try to post dry weights just for shits and giggles...

Yes, Avi the set on the left, from 2012, the set on the right is demo
I completed last week.

A little longer in veg, light defoliation during veg and fan leaves pinched
one a day soon after the stretch was done in flower.

53% increase in yield, as compared to the previous yogi demo.

The rise in per cent increase does not apply 1 to 1 as I grow bigger plants,
but I do yield better on average with a longer veg, defoliation, and pinching
fan leaves in flower after stretch in my hps box.

Coco hempy's with maxibloom and protekt.

Interesting stuff Glory, I too have started vegging a touch longer -- now using a cab that can let the plants get a little bigger. Will have to try the defoliation thing next.

Day 57-One week left

Day 57-One week left

Here she is at day 57. I was going to feed all of last week but I decided to flush Thurs. morning and I've been giving her water only since then; all this week she will only see water. I've got some yellowing fan leaves so she is starting to fade.
