We're still here, those of us who survived the life, the booze, meth, cocaine, heroin & pills of all sorts. It's not like we had guides. Not all the trailblazers make it through. The Devil got his due, and even buzzards gotta eat.
Cannabis & other true psychedelic drugs got a bad name by association. Cannabis is apparently shedding that image, as it should have been all along.

Yep, remember $0.24 a gallon filling up a '58 FORD on $5.00.
And yes, was jazzed to get a lid like you described for $15.
