this shit had me crackin up... you can shoot a zombie between the eyes with a 9 milli at 50 yards but cant seem to hit a human with an assault rifle. Bad writing/directing. I still watch it tho.

Maybe Kirkland is taking a new tack? Namely, n alternative story line? I hope so, this back and forth with the Gov, is going to get old quick!

A nephew and I were talking about the show and he said that he would like to see the group pick up a radio broadcast offering a safe place. Then trek cross-country trying to reach it. Meeting different kinds of people, both good and bad. Lose some and pick up others along the way and make for a good supply of stories

But the best idea, imho, that someone (my apologies for forgetting who) posted earlier about some flash-backs to show how any one person got to this point in the story!

Maybe Kirkland is a member here and looks in from time to time!

OT: Mob City with Jon Bernthal, started last Wednesday. If you like 40's era Film Noir, Jazz, Swing, Blues, or the Old Standards, you're going to like this show. If nothing else, it's a hell of a sound-track! Pretty well acted, but, I think Alexa Davalos, as Jasmine Fontaine, is a bit too Lauren Bacall-ish for her role as the love interest. Then again, it fits well into the genre they're going for. Overall, I give it a thumbs up, despite it being a cop show.

Just FYI and there may be a few spoilers in this...

I read the comics and books (which are pretty close to the series so far) Live Bait S4 Ep6 was a short version of the Rise of the Governor book and all the major things that have happened in the comics aside from a few missing/extra/alternative versions of characters.

Hopefully the priest/cannibals will make an appearance soon and When/If Eugene and Abraham turn up they all head off to Washington. So there could be a bit more movement and excitement in February.

There has also been a spin off series (following a different group) mentioned for 2015 so the possibilities are endless.

Also, this mid season break shit pisses me off. Not back until February...WTF.
I'd rather go back to being 6 months behind, than have to have this stupid mid season break shit, which I can only assume is due to US scheduling.

Yeah, you may be right about Tyrese and Judith. When they showed the empty car-seat, there was no blood and a zombie wouldn't take it out of the seat first, before a...um...light snack. It would be more like you or me eating a cupcake without removing the paper cup!

As far as the mid-season break is concerned, I agree, It's annoying! But, it is Hollywood, and money is what drives the industry!

With several sisters and a wife that watch tv soap-operas, and over the years I have seen way to many people killed off and brought back from the "dead" by these...shows! What gives me pause is that it showed the pistol shot but not the Gov's head explode. One can survive a sword through the chest and even a head wound, so, I am not fully convinced that he was actually killed. But, then again, I thought he might have been behind the 7500 strong zombie herd heading for the prison!

The prison isn't a safe place any more and the group has been split up. With apologies to ol' Bill Shakespeare, "Roaming! Roaming! Wherefore art thou roaming?"

lol...I was waiting for the story lines to devolve like an old Gilligan's Island episode where they wear the same thing every day...doing the same thing...in the same place...allll the time! Staid, I think, is the word.

Anyway, I wholly agree, being forced to fight on two fronts at once (zombies and humans), opens up a lot more possibilities!

I look for a couple (or so) others in the group to say their goodbyes before the end of the season (and already Herschel)! Supposedly, they're introducing a few more characters from the comic.

lol...Yeah! Another conundrum! The breach of the gun can take 105mm round pressures, but a hand grenade will kill everybody in the tank?!?!!? I couldn't but help to roll my eyes at that one! Still (giving it a leap of faith!), even if the tanker had survived, you had, essentially, a 60 ton yard ornament!

I too am in the UK mate, we are currently in the stupid "Mid season break" of series 4. You are talking about series 3. It (series 4) is showing on Fox, formerly FX. It doesn't come back til February.


Game of thrones due back in "Early" 2014..... April apparently.
