New Forum Frontpage and Navigation

I tried to give the new forum structure some time to get used to but I can't get used to it and simple navigtion tasks take me ages (just figuring out where to find subforum X).

I don't think your doing yourself any favors in terms of usability.

Just my 2 cents.

I hear ya. But there were a couple of threads about the same thing that got binned, just as yours sadly will be as well. Skippy said " get used to it". Seems to be the general attitude around here lately.

The new menu just went up while you were posting this, so I doubt you gave it a good tryout.

There should now be just one horizontal banner across most pages. Flash should be fine, let me know if not. I think all flash banners have been removed now.

I will admit Skip....that does make things a bit easier. I guess it will just take some time to get used to. Grow em big and keep your roots warm........winter is here....for some of us.

Is it possible that they want to drive traffic away? Reduce the cost of running the ship? Perhaps we should take the hint?

Is it possible that with Gypsy out of the picture and seedbay and boutique traffic dropping off significantly that the people left to run the site don't want the expense of keeping it going? Can't say I blame them. Seems plausible.

You guys could try the mobil function on the bottom left and see if it works better

For all those (myself included) that have requested an easier to use front page - this new one, just put up, today, is SO much better and easier to navigate, than the first change made...

I hope one of those changes is preventing anonymous negging. I have got a troll who is negging posts with nothing objectional in them. I think i know who it is though.
Example, I posted the guardian article in which Angela Merkel compared the NSA to the Stasi, and some dickless fuckstick negged that.
This post will be negged by my troll. I copy pasted the article and didn't add any comment of my own, and that warranted a neg---obviously my own personal troll.
I couldn't care less about being negged, but the anon negs for posts that have nothing bad in them, drive me bananas.

Either make it so that negs can only be delivered through the scales, or make it so I can see who used the not helpful button, please.
