Here they are vegging along. Haven't used soil in a long time so I have some learning to do.

I will come back and update previous posts with older pictures. Here I am right now, about 22 days after potting up the smaller confidential cheese plants.

Im running a modified super soil mix and am trying to figure out how soon i should flower these girls. The pots 3g and 7g have been holding water for over 2 weeks now although there not water logged. Id like to get some roots to fill to pots before flowering but i'm afraid I choose too big of containers!

12x 3g pots are confidential cheese as well as 2x 7g pots.
1x7g Romulan
2x7g Super Train Wreck

First run with the CC and Romulan. Both cuts from a local club so hope its the real deal. The Super Train Wreck cut I have is real fruity and has been a decent producer.

sorry guys didn't realize the pictures were having problems. They should be working now.
I've been vegging under progressively stronger lights.
I'm now using a 1000mh watt + a 600hps watt set at 50%
flower will be with a minimum of 1600 watts, possibly 2000.
Do you think i should keep vegging or just let em flower already.
I've got some new beans i'm eager to try after this run.

How long has it been since you lasted potted? Any roots poking through the drain holes? Start training them. Drill a dozen or so holes around the tops of the pots to tie off to. Thatll buy you more time. Might as well put all that root space to good use

Its been 17 days since they hit there new containers.
The soil was cooked for at least 24 days before transplant.
I feel when the pots completely dry out and get their first real watering, they will perk up immediately. At least that's what happened with the CC bush in the back. I feel like I should be having faster growth rates but could be because i am far from dialed in.

I feel like some smart pots would have benefited me in my situation. maybe next go around.

Mm... ya that's a ton of soil to wet. Maybe once therye totally dry you could try watering from the bottom. That will get the roots mobilized in the search for water.

All that room . Definately take that and USE it . Super Soil? Who's Mix? What is in it?

I cant remember who modified the mix but it was basically just lighter on all the amendments which is good because i added too much super soil anyway. If its really important to anyone i can go back through some notes and figure it out. The plants have really perked up after a watering, which I've been waiting to give them a good soaking. I still haven't come around to the old picture yet but here is some current progress.

Roughly 24 days after pot up

I'm growing impatient and need to get things moving along so i decided to trigger the flower stage. I know i could get more use out of those size containers but I know better for next time.


This is definitely a different pace then coco or hydro but my plants never looked this healthy and green.

Any suggestions on how i should prune the bigger bushes? I need to take some action soon because i don't want to get stuck with a bunch of larf.

UPDATE: Day 18 flower

some of the girls could be doing better but at this point there looking pretty good. The Confidential Cheese is really ahead of the romulan and trainwreck in bud development. I didn't get the stretch i was expecting with any of these strains. Maybe it has something to do with my day/night temps. Any how here is some pics.

UPDATE: Day 28 ish
Girls are starting to gain some weight slowly. Planning on taking the tent to 8 or 9 weeks.
Not sure if i'm completely convinced about my super soil mix. I could have done a better job prepping the soil and letting the roots fill the pots properly would have helped speed things along. Id have to give it at least one more try before i have my final opinion. So far though, It has been almost to simple, just feed water, and teas. I don't miss messing around with water/air pumps at all.

cant wait to finish this tent up and start fresh. My jars need replenishing.

The super trainwreck for some number of reasons did not perform how It has in the past, it really was a vigorous bush in coco last time i ran it.

The confidential cheese is bulking up, not the smell i expected but it still has at least 15 days to go. The others will probably let go 20-25 days more.

The romulan is gonna have some fat colas all the way from the bottom. Its definitely sativa leaning.
