Sized down! 150W CLF 70x55x100cm

Hello

After having growed untill two years ago in several places, indoors as well as outdoors, but having made a break, I decided to start a sized down grow.
I had been growing in a 120cmx240cmx200cm tent with 3x400W plus a 1qm tent for the mothers, cuttings and seedling of the outdoor plants.

My new set up is much smaler, also because it needs to be hidden well! So I decided to use what I came upon already and to keep expenditure as low as possible.

I know growing with 400W HPS or more, big exhaust fans with climate controll etc. is more productive, but I'd say better grow then don't grow.

So I want to show you my little setup, and I'd kindly ask for advice how I can make things more effective. You can of cause also ask my all kinds of questions (plz only about growing or related issues for example about the lights I use or the strains etc.

Would like to continue with some impressions from the 7th day of flowering. No real flowers to be seen yet but little hairs forming. Plants had a bit of pre-flowering due to being a "Clone Only Strain". Tried to scrog them as much as possible without using a mesh, but tieing them down as good as I could.

They definitely have formed quite some shoots. Hope my lights manage to generate some buds as well!

great grow man, what kind of Cfl's are you using? and are those gallon pots? What kind of weight can you usually pull down using gallon pots?

Hi haromaru,
I've got 3x30W CFL 827 (2700k), 1X15W CFL 827, 2X23W CFL 865, and a 20W growspectrum (pretty much red and blue coloring, rather purple). In total that should be 151W

The pots, well they are 6,5L, how many gallons? I don't know..

The best thing about the grow are the nice cutting that I got, short internodes and fast rooting.

Also for you guys a short update about what is going on with the Green Hessinen. First flowers in sight!



I want to add some more light to my box, I was thinking about a 70W HPS since I casually found this piece of a reflector yesterday.



Or does anybody have experienced a dimmable 100W EVG like this on?



Actually don't know where to buy them.

Would be great if someone would have my some advice about the light augment.

In the meantime 3 weeks passed by, and the girls developed a bit.

Did you add more light to your setup?

What strains are you running? I saw the roadrunner seed pack pic and mention of clone only and Green Hessinen. Is Green Hessinen a clone only strain? or is it also from seed?

Hey blynx, yes that's right, the "Grüne Hessin" is a clone only strain. It's a cross between a Warlock and a hermy Jaggen that produced only 3 seeds and one became the mother of these clones. Well. I guess the mother of these clones is already a clone of a clone from the original mother or so
She should be a good yielder and finish within 60+ days! However I never grew her before, we will see.
The 3 Roadrunner I just added because I had some space left. I already flipped into flower so I could have only add some pure sativa or some autos. I thought give it a try!
I addad some 60W CFL and 16W LED (cheep chinese production and low wattage) just to keep the autos more compact.

Hello folks

Would like to update you on what is going on in my small cabinet. Meanwhile I am running some more lights, 5x30W, 1X15W, 2X23W, 1X20W, 2X8W LEDs, so altogether 247W!

Since we are in flowering week 7 (day 42) there is some nice resin production. Will give them two more weeks, then I'll get ready for the next run.. actually thinking about a bigger variety of strains next time!

Hi Green81!

The auto's are doing fine, however, they are a bit behind, but i don't care. I will simply adopt them into my next grow. I hope they don't mind getting 18h of light from then on. They are supposed to finish in 65 days from sprouting given that they receive 20h of light a day.

Maybe I'll upload some pics of them the next days. What I can sing so far is that there are two stretched and one compact plant.

though not heavy nor sour! rather fruity, bit of lemon and orange, definitely flowery and sweet.. few more weeks to go! we'll see in the end...

Wanted to show you what happened to the DinaFem Autos:

They are in day 52 now, with 12/12 from the first day on. Haven't had the opportunity to give them more light! Anyhow, they are doing fine and they still got some 2-3 weeks to go.

Further I have got some babes finishing right now! The first of the 8 Hessinen got pre-part chopped. She was the only one who's leaves started to become yellow and crispy, now I have more space for the remaining 7. These got their next to last watering today (flower day 53), but have a look on your own!
