Hi smak the PLLs run warm but not hot, i have 1 5 inch pc fan blowing air across the bulbs, and the top of the plants, and thats all the air movement i have in the veg chamber. the only way they plants get burnt is if they touch the bulb! I had a few of my buds however get scorched from the 250w so im going to put a few more fans in the flower cab for next round.
On further inspection after cutting a leaf and taking out the flower cab i coudl then see some amber so i decided to harvest #1 and #2 at 58 days! and im going to harvest #4 this sunday! I will update with pics soon!

I dont check or do anything with the ph, just use tap water and havent had any problems. hempy himself said this is the method he uses so i trust him! and the plants look happy!

Ok so more on my setup.
I have a 5 inch temperature controlled fan. Probably a bit overkill for my wattage, but leaves room for expansion if i ever wanted to upgrade to 400w for example! i have it running at 40% and kicks in to full power if temps go above 29 degrees. Trouble is it makes an extremely loud buzzing noise like a jumbo jet! so i tried masking with cushioning first but i could stil hear it stood on the landing. so i decided to make an acoustic box for it, from a thread i found here i think in Spanish?! i just followed pics:
First i cut 6 pieces of thick MDF board to make a box big enough to house my fan with some play. Drilled and screwed together, filled gaps with decorators caulk, then using wall paper adhesive, i stuck cut sheets of underfloor insulation to the inside of the box.
Then i cut two holes either side big enough for my acoustic vent pipe to fit through.
Next, it fitted the lid with hinges, and cut some egg box foam to fit the inside of the box full out. I got two clips that you get on mason jars (hinge clamps?) to hold the lid tight.
Then for extra vibration control i cut and stuck strips of adhesive sound proofing roll, dont buy the expensive stuff, i just use this from building materials shops, its used in roofing. its called flashing. same stuff, fraction of the price!
There you have it, fin goes in, pipes fit tight through holes. and it completely sound proofs it!

But you cant hear anything from the landing and in the room its quieter than a pc.

AK #1 Harvested at 58 days. Solid plant, skunky cheese smell. some nice size nugs. Fast finisher.

AK #2 Complete monster! such a train-wreck when i took out the buds collapsed everywhere! fruity smell, fastest finisher, Hermied like mad but no seeds so no problem! nice purple hues!

Day 63, harvested AK #4 as the most well done, should of left other two a few days more i think! some nice sized frosty nugs!
Couple of shots of the dried nugs, have vaped a few times now. fist time i tried it with 3 of my friends, along with a few drinks, the night ended up with 2 of us spinning out and throwing up! Some seriously strong bud! ( dont mix with alcahol!)
mind you we did drink beer, then port, then wine, then rum.....

And finally #3, took till day 70. needed longer but i needed to get the next plants in to finish before i go away. The other 3 are all very similar but this one is different... its super fruity and just more sativa i think and super frosty! really looking forward to try this one! unfortunately im having trouble getting the cuttings from it to clone so im gona attempt reveg to so hopefully not lost. i already have a motherplant ready for #1 and #2.
Also notice how one of the buds had this strange half n half bleached effect! Cool eh!
Weigh in very soon... my overall goal is to reach 1 g/w but my target for my fist run is 6 oz.... im optimistic ive beat it!

Im happy with this for my first run of the setup landing just shy of 7 ozs. I think i can immprove on this with better training allowing more buds to get closer to the light as i had alot of pop corn.
the smell and taste of no's 1, 2 , and 4 are the same. slightly cheesey skunky weed with a real strong high. i havent sampled number 3 but it has a much nicer fruitier smell and looks a lot more sativa. A very nice strain and have got a mother of number 2 which im going to keep for sure!

result was excellent bro, i get around 150g.dry with 250w too, usually only topped and run 8 plants , i no you can improve your goal but anyway buds lookin amazing bro ..enjoy your own staff

thanks green81 and killerweed31. It is some really nice stuff, i had some friends over last nite showing me the stuff they had i smelt it and it smelt damp and chemical, pulled this stuff out and they were blown away how fragrant proper weed can actually be!
Currently in the flower chamber, i have a clone of AK 1,2 and 3 in, aswell as a lone C99 x GrapeKrush. i havent trained them much just topped and some LST as i had to start flowering them in small pots in the veg cab so i could squeeze another harvest in before xmas, so im not expecting much, but the c99 cross looks and smells intresting indeed, some pics to follow soon!
Also i have just popped 4 female seeds C99 Hybrid. only 3 have sprouted though. i dug around in the 4th to see what had happened, and i found the taproot deattached, and a very small white maggot type thing on it (guessing it had eating through the taproot!) probably a fungas gnat larve? so my next scrog round will be 3 c99 hybrids and 1 Pure AK. that wont start flowering untill January though.

sound interesting bro, i also run c99 from female seed, outstanding pineapple pheno and also the spice pheno both are awesome ...smell, tasty and high.

Just a veiw of what in the flower cab atm.
got 3 ak clones, and 1 c99 x grape Krush, im going call it G99 for now! These pics are 44 days in.
I started flowering these in the veg cab, as i wanted to squeeze another harvest for xmas so didnt have chance to train to screen. I think only the 2 aks will be done by then tho.... the G99 looks likes its gona take atleast 80 days.... i had a short veg time tho so prob didnt help. It looks super frosty, very phat indica dom dark green leaves, but not a very heavy yielder.... and i cant make out the smell yet kinda deep musky, maybe kushy type no grape or pineapple yet.
Just fed with Ripen hoping to speed things up.
Also considering upgrading my light in the new year, to a 400w or a 600w HPS... and changing to a 2 plant scrong with one big net, as i think i could yield as much with 2 plants as i can with 4 as i endded up cutting alot of grow shoots off due to lack of space.
Not sure if i might run into trouble with temps with a 600w in this area, but a 400w should be fine.. what do you think? ( space is 2ft x 3 ft x 6ft with a 5 inch extractor)

Update on this rushed round. Day 59 of flower here and had to cut down AK 1 and 2, could of done with a bit longer, but im leaving town for a while so had to be done early...
AK # 2:
I used some ripen a couple of weeks ago, to try speed things up. and it made the plants go crazy and foxtail everywhere! shooting bunches of pistils ontop of already formed buds! duno if it makes it ripen faster at all but definatly will boost yield!

Heres AK #1. actually looks to be the bigger yielder this time... it been at back left posistion same as no 2 last time so maybe that is the best spot for most light.
