who makes the best DIESEL in seed form?

A few years ago (at least 5-6 years, maybe 7) i was in a dutch coffeeshop in venlo and a friend of mine bought some weed that was just called "Diesel".
When i smelled this Diesel it was a real eye opener to me, as all the weed i have smoked before had kinda the same smell with slight variations like more sweet or more spicy than the other one and so on (with the exception of haze maybe).
This diesel had a very, very distinctive and unique smell to it that i cant really describe (or even remember at this time) but i would recognize it under 1000 different samples any time.
And now to my question:
which diesel will deliver me this unique smell that cant be found in other strains, considering it was ~6 years ago, there were a lot less diesels on the market so any ideas?

i was thinkin about tryin dansk diesel but it is a sour diesel, and i dont know how far the differences between o. diesel, sour diesel and Nycd go in the smell department.

amnesia coffeshop.nycd soma.cut dead in 2008 i think: never see after...fat diesel smell, with afgan nostalgia undertones...are 6 years now that i try to find this smell..

yea i know im not very helpfull but its really hard to describe especially if its sooo long ago
the smell was just so unique, it belongs in its own league like haze.
for me it was some kind of fermented fruits (tho different fruits smell different when fermented...) but this description doesent do justice to it because it was way more complex.

Maybe i should call the mayor of amsterdam as the coffeeshop in venlo belongs to him, he knows for sure what diesel it was, maybe he got it even from soma himself xD

i've done dansk Diesel some years ago....very similar to original diesel by caliconnection,sour cream dna and sour d by rez...sour smell like a mix of grapefruit and anise.....old nycd diesel pheno are more like headband/underdawg and chemd...meat, garlic, car garage smell like best afgan hasplants...

so after peepin this thread I hoped on the bay n checked fractals gear. strawberry diesel f3 or the deep strawberry diesel. anyone have experience with the later? or the f3 beans specifically? sounds like it could be a fun go around

^DSD is a frosty, stinky, productive hash plant but even the strawberry leaners didn't turn out fuely at all. I loved the stuff but wouldn't call it a diesel as Deep Chunk tends to dominate that cross.
