i'm getting sick of the bickering. treat each other with respect and you will be treated the same. if someone feels they can not share a certain tech, for what ever reason, it's their business. i mean really, he has shared so many tips over the threads that anyone with a bit of imagination and the materials in front of them will solve the riddle. but it seems some are now saying people shouldn't post up their system as it's just showing off? so wtf is it? share or not share? man this crap makes my head spin.

I actually regret posting at all. I have a major personality flaw, I call bullshit too much and speak my mind without a filter. Sometimes my thoughts don't transfer to writing.
If people want to show product and not reveal the method that is their right. I may think it a dick move but it is their right. I do dislike the weed / hash stars as I think they are not very humble people.
I do agree with the statement that getting anyone to stop with the BHO and move to a non volatile method of making a concentrate is great. The problem is that the BHO guys share their techniques freely. Why can't the dry extraction guys do that?
Anyway I like the look of the finished product. I bet it smokes very good.

One of the screens the 43/110 is the same size as what is in the tumbler, i use it to clean any contamination that happened loading/ unloading the barrel. The other screen is a 77/195 that's where the magic happens.
???? do you mean 143/110?
Does the mesh of the 77/195 come into contact/lay on the slab?

I think he means 43 micron, 110 lpi.. just using both measurements for everyone.

DSW - so stoked on your method - i will put up a couple more pics - i make a small batch every night .... just leave the screens out on my kitchen table and 5 minutes later FMCD to the dome !!!!!

I feel a bit like a idiot as far as the screens being micron or lpi, I was given a 43&77 in ams years ago. I tool those #'s x 2.5 and came up with 110/ 195, went to a silkscreen shop bought the screens here in merika and they work the same... After I got the kief out of the tumbler it took less than a hour to get 14g.

Come on you guys are about as harsh as bubble harsh, or should I say wet sift. oxymoron. Search the word sift, DRY material...
Ok ive spent some time cleaning up this thread. If I see anymore bickering ... people are going to get some free time to spend with their families through the holidays. I certainly dont want to spend my time cleaning up bickering. So can we please quit the petty bickering .. those that want to share please do .. those that dont ... well dont

Dry sift that is pure enough to press that goes black and shiny is melty. I made 4 of those patties in 2 hours yesterday, 170g.
Was it black and shiny? I look at it in the microscope before i press it, to make sure it is AA grade, anything else goes to another project, I have traveled to and seen hash from many countries and in 40 years I have seen unpressed hash once. It is much easier to deal with pressed.
