400w cmh vs 250w hps heat

Hi

I am planning to get my self a cmh. I have read that cmh emits less heat than mh and hps.

My question is, how much more heat do i get with 400w cmh compared to 250 hps?

I have currently 250 hps and i going to get my self a 400w or 250w philips mastercolor retro white,depending on the heat. Philips 930 Agro would be better but out of budget.

Any opinions?

You mean new philips 315w agro bulb? That would be nice but too expencive.

cmh 400w bulb+ballast around 140euros.cmh 250w bulb 85euros. 315w bulb 120euros plus ballast 250euros.

Or is there something i`m missing?

they've got a nice looking hooded unit for $270 (199 euros) at

Cheapest 315w are in US. 80$ or so. Ballasts around 100$. plus shipping.

that's the best price i've seen for a complete pkg w/hood, socket, ballas & bulb
