im gonna go with the sssdh seeds first i think,im kinda scared of the dtc99 as a large plant...for that matter the sssdh can get hugely out of control...unfortunately nobody aside from me really liked the dtc99,everyone said..."its too strong" or they would just look at the buds and think not chunky put you to sleep indica, not interested....
personally i love it,but for the space it will take up and then to get a bumper harvest i have to lowball to get rid of,not worth it...for personal use sure, but unfortunately these kids these days dont know good old school sativas....

...but the guy at the hardware store did a really bad job cutting it...

Does anybody in the service industry do their jobs right any more???
Maybe I just have bad luck but its like either nobody knows how to do thier job or they just dont give a shit.
I mean, i know theyre not making a great wage, but good god man, dragging ass is not gonna get them anywhere.

But, whataya gonna do?

Switching gears(pun intended), Heres a couple pics i took the other day. Before my internet went out.

Here's a shot of the next round vegging, and some young mother plants lounging under a 32w CFL. The next round consists of: Pure Kush x Stardawg; Gorilla Glue#4 x [(GS Cookies x Fire OG)bx1]; Purple Urkle x [(GS Cookies x Fire OG)bx1]; NYC Sour Diesel(bag seed); MK Ultra x S.A.G.E; Elephant Stomper

And heres a Granddaddy Purple x Prayer Tower Female(day 6 of flowering)

And heres a couple pics of the gg4. Imo it grows like wildfire. Its a really health and vigourous plant.

11/02/13 This clone was just put into soil mix a day or 2 before this.

11/18/13 And here it is now. Thriving. Day 4 of flowering.

Unc .... you know my space & height limitations .... would a good plan for the DTC be let the seed plants get big enough to show sex & then take cuttings & start them as soon as they root ??? ya know start them small . maybe a weeks veg at the most . like i used to do with my SSH .
do they like alot of root space or could i run them in 1 gallon pots of coco ? not trying to grow monsters .... just decent little bushes like i like .

got some new clones to stick this morning :yay:

I wanna know!:)

..but unfortunately these kids these days dont know good old school sativas....

People that think that (from a smokers perspective) bud density means anything in terms of quality are morons. Some of the best weed i ever smoked would be laughed at by the Kush generation. I remeber Third grew some Golden Sativa that was prolly Fire and he said he couldnt even sell it. WTF?

Thinking that frost means everything is another misconception some of these kids have too.

O yeah, Morning all you Lance Armstrongers:wave:

hmmmmm......yes.....maybe....

yes, many people have had success with long flowering sativas being kept small by limiting root space, but its a challenge to keep up with the watering later in flower and they are also probably not going to be able to share a rez with another strain since tropical sativas in general dont like much N during flower...but any time you broad stroke anything about plants you're bound to be wrong on occasion...
but yes, sexing the seed plants and then taking cuts will keep your ultimate plant size down...

maybe....i recall my keeper pheno as being very opportunistic and viney, any place there was some stray light it grew into....

mornin fellaz. No Im not sure they are even aphids at all. only bugs I can find are ants. Could be ant eggs they are totin I guess. I just know I followed the trail from my veg tray to the yard plant so I assume thats what it is. They could be just moving to a warmer spot :dunno: Guess I will grab some andro today and start with the ants.

I sincerely hope I'm incorrect about the aphids... I fear that I am not.... I've seen a situation like yours before... trouble might not start for a few weeks... Keep your eyes on what the ants are carrying.... I wish you luck, and I hope I'm wrong....

copy paste.......

Aphid-herding ants make sure their "cattle" stay well-fed and safe. When the host plant is depleted of nutrients, the ants carry their aphids to a new food source. If predatory insects or parasites attempt to harm their wards, the ants will defend them aggressively. Some honey ants even go so far as to destroy the eggs of known aphid predators like lady beetles.

Some species of honey ants continue to care for their aphids during winter. The ants carry the aphid eggs home, and tuck them away in their nests for the winter months. They store the precious aphids where temperatures and humidity are optimal, and move them as needed when conditions in the nest change. In spring, when the aphids hatch, the ants carry them to a host plant to feed.

got the tray stand done finally, may need to trim the spacers an inch on the legs, but aside from that a sturdy unit...the only thing i might change is if i can find the 3 way 90 degree corners and the fancy casters, but this will be good for now since these six plants are destined for bigness...

I havnt smoked yet this am (not since 3am anyway). I really should smoke some Nevils Madness, as that gets me up and motivated to work, but, I keep thinking about the OGMango. I got that one right. Just a tiny touch of sweet mango flavor, and a full furnace blast of Original OG. Wicked instant high

sirloin steak lollipops

sirloin steak lollipops

Gonna run to the store in a bit and get some sirloin, and some type of sharp cookie cutter tool. Ill make thick round medallions, probably wrapped in bacon and soaked in Terryaki orange juice. slow smoked on lollipop sticks

yeah they'd be on their own tray & rez .... i was thinkin 4 in 2 gallon pots or 3 gallon smarties .... but figured the smarties would be to big to grow clones with a weeks veg . so more than likely 2 gallons . how long of a flower cycle does she need 10 to 12 weeks or longer ????

luckily i have a bicycle! soon to be 3 of them!

it depends on the pheno you get,the one i kept ran 10-12 weeks usually,i think i generally picked around day 73,but with sativas like these you need to pick a harvest window, and as i recall with this variety the windows were about 48 hours long about every 8-10 days, but it could toss out another layer of calyx stacks in that time...
the buds are almost pure calyx, they seem airy to many people but theres really like zero stem so its all pure bud when you clean it to smoke....its a pure bitch to trim too,not really leafy or anything, just complicated in shape if that makes sense...

look through my albums, theres lots of single calyx shots and you can see they are crusted 360 degrees in trichs, its pretty insane stuff...
